He is the starting SG but he basically plays as the point, bringing the ball up usually. If the ball goes to Holiday/Iggy, they will bring the ball up but usually its Turner.
Welcome to Clutchfans, Evan! Try to have a Rockets take on occasion, and we'll treat you nicely. And good luck hitting your career high again sometime soon, but just don't do it against the Rockets.
So it's 3 games as the starting SG. 2 with gaudy numbers and 1 that was awful. The production might prompt Philly to keep him but with three ball handlers starting someone's game is going to drop eventually. It'll be like when Hedo was playing in Toronto.
watching NY/PHI, Turner looking good, again ... already a double double (12pts 10 rbds) with 10min remaining in the 3rd ... hope to see him in a rox jersey soon ^^
Was just about to post the same. 14 points, 11 boards and there's 8 minutes left in the third. Guy likes to rebound! UPDATE One minute later: Now 16 and 12.
yeah, glad i picked him in my fantasy team 5 days ago ^^ i really like this kid, he seems very confortable handling the ball, and got good elevation on his jumpshot ...
Maybe not untouchable but why would they part with him now when he's playing like what they thought he'd play like when he was drafted? 1 good game can be lucky. 2 good games in a row and it could still be flukey. But he's strung together a couple weeks worth of great games since he's been getting quality minutes.
I honestly think Turner can be our franchise guy. I loved him coming out of Ohio State. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=8yk8anc Maybe swap the Center from USC with Brackins and the Rockets add a 1st rounder
Sounds like a guy on the rockets team doesn't it? Guy plays inconsistent because he gets inconsistent minutes. All of a sudden he's playing a lot and is putting up numbers. Wow,what a novel concept.
