If we don't manage to trade up, Morris could be ours for the Milwaukee pick---unless he really explodes in the rest of the tournament and/or at pre-draft camps. He has the ability. He's just a quiet assassin, and in college, he plays a lot of free-lance zone. I think he'll be what we need: long-armed, athletic, quick, can play inside and outside.

More disconcerting news from the last game - During cruch time, Morris was on the bench.

This is kind of tough. Rudy and CD have a talent for spotting sleepers, guys who have talent, but who scouts question for some reason. I think most people here agree Morris would fit well with the Rockets, given his size and abilities. However, the last thing we need is someone without intensity like Cato or Quitten. I'm going to trust Rudy and CD to make the right call on Morris and whether his attitude is a real problem or perceived. Hey, we were wrong about Mo T, right? If Rudy and CD feel Morris will work out with the team, I hope he drops to where we can nab him with the Milwaukee pick, or maybe we can trade up a little bit. Heck, I wouldn't mind if we nabbed Morris with our pick, which could be about 17 if make the playoffs and satisfy our obligation to Vancouver by trading for a mid-range pick with the picks coming our way this year (Milwaukee's and the NY via Orlando.)

Morris lacks intensity even though he is a good defender and rebounder.Intensity and having the heart to play well and to do whatever it takes to win is critical to a team's success.Look at Ruben Patterson,he is only 6'5'' but he is a big hearted player who utilizes his strengths and never gives up easily.Shandon has been disappointing because he hasn't improved on his weaknesses like shooting and dribbling.Morris on the other hand is more skillful than Anderson, but continues to be passive when things get tough most of the time. That's why I think it would be better if we could get a better player who could still be tall enough to play with the small forwards in the NBA.I would like to ask JayZ750 to give some other names that he thinks could be a better fit for the Rockets than Terrence Morris at the small forward spot.
