Definately my favorite movie of 2004. Brilliant work by Winslet. Carrey was great as well, even though he did slip into Carrey-mode a couple times in the movie. Great great movie.
Nope, all it is a sappy Kaufman love story that is done up with a crappy side idea to take away from the main part of the STORY, the romance.. I think most people like the "IDEA" and it turn it makes them think the story or plot is a good movie, it falls way short in handing out any good depth...I also think people dont know that they have already seen this movie the first time when it was called BEING JOHN MALKOVICH with all the Alice in Wonderland stuff going on... Plot?? Yeah technically there is one, but dont let the FLUFF fool you, its very weak...
Easily my favorite movie of 2004. Reading this thread makes me want to go see it again. What up, BGM...you going to be around more now or did you just pop in to tease us?
working like a w****.... happy to see the Rockets playing so well, hope to get some playoff tickets. -can't wait to beat you down in FFL again.
great call BGM, eternal sunshine is awesome, for me a close second behind garden state for my favourite movies in 2004
Anybody see I Heart Huckabees? Sort of same off the wall intellectual movie but IMO much funnier than Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Also a must see for Naomi Watts fans.
I was so hyped for this movie when it came out, & I had watched the trailer so many times that whenever I see the movie title, the tune to Mr. Blue Sky by ELO even though it was only in the trailer, and didn't even tangentaly tie in with the film.
