ESPN's Rob Parker asks if Robert Griffin III is a "cornball brother"

I can't imagine ESPN would okay this content to be aired if they knew Parker would say something as stupid as this. Jemele Hill brings up race in completely unconnected situations, but this is next level dumb.

Never heard of this Rob Parker guy (I stay away from First Take). He seems like an idiot.

Stephen A. Smith being quiet/uncomfortable was the best part. Not because he actually was quiet for once, but because it makes you realize just how off-putting and stupid Parker's comments were. For someone on that show to basically give the perception that they don't want to be there, filming that show at that moment...(especially Screamin' A.) that says enough right there.

I didn't get that from his comments at all, though I don't think the media wanted a black QB to succeed and that is why McNabb got so much credit. I also believe Limbaugh is a racist. If nothing else he is scum.

If they don't fire him, then I am not sure how they can fire anyone ever. He just said you aren't a real brother if you have a white fiancee. That's blatant racism.

As a black guy, wouldn't you be proud that he is black? His fiance chose a black guy OVER a white guy, look at it like that.

A guy on the radio said that there are some black guys that don't like or hang out with other black guys because they wouldn't be interested in the same things and that's how RG3 is perceived. WTF? Do you think every race likes hanging out with the everyone in the same race?

look, i'm not defending rob parker, i'm really not.

sometimes you have to look at a guy like rob and where he comes from and even more particularly his age.

i was going to say something about my brother, jerome solomon, and rob parker and i looked up rob parker's age and all three are the same age. i mention solomon because he is really close friends with my brother.

where did my brother meet jerome, they met a burbank middle school. why were they there, especially my brother who was living in the hiram clarke area. because they were bussed there. long story short they are the last of a civil rights generation. i'm sure a lot of you have a problem with jerome's opinion's when he seems to be clearly defending a black athlete, and that's probably where it comes from.

i have no problem with rob being suspended. i like him, i never thought he would be stupid enough to say something like this even though he might feel that way. i do understand why he does.
