I'm actually fine with standing pat. I think we can at least get to the 2nd round with our current squad. There really isn't a trade out there that makes us instantly better than LA or SA, so it's not worth ruining future seasons for the sake of making a move to make one. I don't like losing Artest for nothing, but oh well....

Actually, I would love nothing more than to see the current team give Stacey the big FU and get to the 2nd round without him.

Also, is our 1st round pick lotto protected or not?

The Rockets could also get in the hunt for an extra big man, or for a veteran point guard now that they've handed the keys to Aaron Brooks and Kyle Lowry.
They have $1.568 million of their mid-level remaining, but I need to get full details to see how close they stand to the luxury-tax threshold following today's three-way trade with Memphis and Orlando. Portland also has its full midlevel exception ($5.585 million) and San Antonio has $2.085 million of its midlevel.

According to the Orlando Sentinel thread, he went to Memphis along w/ Wilks.
