For a guy who hasn't played in months, KPJ sure is getting a lot of the blame for the Rocket's piss-poor performance. We are clearly better with him than without. I agree he shouldn't be a pg, but at least he can hit shots. This has to be the worst shooting team in Rockets' history. Let's cut the only guy who is decent?

Those pushing narratives have to blame someone other than the guys who are underperforming, they've always picked KPJ to be that scapegoat. The fact that KPJ has actually performed pretty well this season just fueled the hatred.

It'll be interesting to see who they blame if they manage to run off KPJ and Silas is fired. They aren't going to acknowledge that their pet players suck, so they'll need a new scapegoat.

We have one of the best passing big men in the league already in Sengun.

This scares me more than anything. We really have always had a really good front office beyond just the GM. Losing a ton of scout and analytics talent is what puts you in the dungeons of the NBA. I dont want to forever be some middling franchise at best like the Kings.

Blow up the entire backcourt. Jalen Green and KPJ are losing players who will always waste their god-given talent. They have no fire, no competitiveness.
They should open a nail salon together, they seem to hit the nail polish harder than the weights.
Fire all coaching/front office staff too, clean house.

People are convicted on social media with innuendo these days....everyone has a narrative, the players on the bench, the coach, the other players, everyone, they all whisper to others because the team sucks, pointing fingers - and not one fact gets out.....

If KPJ is being disruptive, and I am NOT saying he isn't then someone should post one fact, just one that he has done. Something CURRENT - not in Cleveland, and after he left the team.....something in the last year and a half.

Don't need a source, just need a "What exactly does disruptive mean?" was he singing at practice, did he punch someone, was he late for practices a lot does he skip them - I mean - there are so many people in this thread alone who just don't like the guy and want to pile on, no matter what.....Pod casts are not news - they are two guys spouting opinions....

If you want to believe - go ahead......I will wait on actual facts.

Yeah l am really shocked Tilman hasn't fired someone. I think he was okay with the team being bad this year, but with his ego I am surprised with this now being in the national media he hasn't gone nuclear.

Tilman cares more about saving money on buyouts than not wasting critical developmental years with this young roster.

Clutch on Rockets Watch ~ "Eric -- let's not pretend like you wouldn't be citing Givony on every platform if he said this about Jalen Green. You don't care about journalism ethics. You care about the KPJ agenda."

I think Tilman cares more about being famous and liked, and as a result will fire someone over this.

100%. And that seems be a core trait in common with certain world leaders. And that always results in very competitive teams, er I mean militaries, er wait...

The team is owned by an ego-maniac doofus, who thinks he has no flaws despite his pathetic record as an owner. (WITH AN INHERITED 65-WIN TEAM TO BOOST HIS WIN%)

It's a huge indoor sports complex in Pennsylvania but nothing said related to the Rockets.

I do believe he knows more than I do, haha.

Dude, everyone did say if they put more KPJ stuff out there, there would be negative consequences also for the public image of the Rockets..

Just let the shetstorm subside and have a little patience till summer.

There is a time for everything, this is NBA business. I am all for getting the story out at the best time possible.

That would be when he is about to be gone.

    That’s just painful to read.

“the Houston Rockets as a brand are one of the top brands out there and we’re going to keep it that way.”

Sometimes you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone. How I miss Les Alexander. I criticized him plenty and now I feel bad about it. Compared to the blowhard buffoon we have today, Les was Saint Alexander, willing to take risks on a young Daryl Morey and, within what Alexander considered reasonable expectations, let him do his job. Les would never have described the Rockets like he was pimping a rust bucket on a used car lot as God’s gift to Detroit.

Exactly. If people don't trust Nook, they at least should trust Clutch. Clutch might not always be right in terms of talent evaluation. But he NEVER post fake news or pretend he knows something but doesn't just to stir things up. If you don't want to trust Clutch, you might as well leave this board.
