Well, I love Yao. I really do. And I know I will be bashed till the cows come home by saying this. But because of how well the team is playing now, I would seriously consider a Yao for Ben Wallace and Hinrich trade.

    Hinrich
    Wells
    Tmac
    Battier
    Wallace

This team can win it all in this year.

So when exactly do the cows come home? I need to know when I should stop bashing you for your really bad, bash-able post. Bleah.

There is only one problem, the salary doesn't match.

"Because of how they are playing now"- big difference between now and the playoffs

"This team can win it all in this year"- Umm, no they can't. The team is winning because they're a good team and because the schedule has been relatively easy. Anyone who thinks Yao isn't a valuable asset, especially come playoff time- well, we'll just see. Yao is going to be in the playoffs for the next 4,5,6 years or more. He is going to be a force in the playoffs, mark my words.

YAO MING IS GOING TO BE A MONSTER IN THE PLAYOFFS.

Are you a Bulls fan or something? Because they would do that deal in a heartbeat. If ever we wanted to trade Yao, I can guarantee the Rockets would ask for a hell of a lot more than Wallace and Hinrich.

First off, if you have seen enough games this season, Deke >>>>>>>>> Ben Wallace. Last game Wallace was completely shadowed by the presence of Deke.

Second, the team you are proposing have absolutely no offensive post presence except maybe Bonzi if he can get his head and back straight and in some kind of a shape. When playoff comes, all this team can hope for to win a game is Tmac attacking and all the other shooters shoot like crazy.

Third, Hinrich is capable of shooting worse than Rafer  on some nights, although that does not happen often.

This team is basically a somewhat upgraded Orlando Magic team in Tmac's days, it might pass the first round in the east, but since we are in the west, there's no way in hell this team can match up with the likes of Suns or Spurs or Mavs.

If you are a Yao fan, Yao might get his first final appearance after this trade though. The only thing the Bulls lack right now is a decent low post player, and Yao give them much more than that.

Given McGrady's back, it would be far, far, far, far more prudent to trade McGrady for Luol Deng and Ben Wallace.

    Or something.

Rockets are definitely not better without Yao. We have a 6-2 record due to everyone stepping up and TMac's own resurgence. Without Yao, we're as good as the Orlando Magics back when the younger TMac was playing. Once we get Yao back, we're going to tear it up.
