Sounds to me like an argument gone bad between young folks, and that those involved wanted to keep it within the pack, and that the cop saw that clearly, and let it go as exactly that. Which I am fine with. He probably did not see looking at the tape as making a difference or worth pursuing for a one time event in which everyone had cooled off.
