Sign d12. Dont pick up delfinos contract. Trade omer, lin, trob, dmo in some 3/4/5 team trade for love. Financially thats the only way to make it work. O and trade royce for a second round pick.

    D12
    Love.
    Parsons
    Harden
    Beverley

If Kevin Love can learn some post up moves, like Pau or Marc Gasol, he would be unstoppable. But so far I haven't seen much of that from KLove.

Love should be the clear choice but neither should be a max player. Rubio is not even close to being a max guy. Love gets his numbers but he does not draw double teams and he is a poor defender. By no means would love receiving a max deal be a horrible move but I can't see him being the best player on a championship caliber team.

K.love is a dominant player in this league plus he has the attitude and mean streak we need ask scolas face and he is on a very bad team if you add him on our team a team with the fire and passion harden and Lin have and I must add mchale to that too I see him becoming one of the next best PF in the league of not already just like harden he is or will be the best SG in the league love can be the same at his position on a winning team and and a different atmosphere of course

That's fine, too. Nobody is going to argue with Paul, Harden, Parsons, Pf like Love, Asik. Heck of a starting five.

I'd rather have Lin, Harden, Parsons, Love, Dwight
    Or
PG tbd, Harden, Parsons, Love, Dwight

Because I think the later is a better fit with Harden and a better front court. CP3 is obviously a superb PG and great distributor, but commands the ball a fair amount. Harden obviously commands the ball, too.

I'd just rather have all-star 2 and 3 as front court players. I think Harden + role players like Lin is enough in the backcourt given Hardens playing style.

But either way... Who cares... This is all not going to happen.

You can never have enough of elite rebounding. That'd be like saying you wouldn't want an elite defender at the PF spot because that wouldn't mesh well with Asik's elite defense. Sure you'd have less rebs between the two of them but honestly, why should the team care about individual player's stats? That'd be like Orlando when DH was getting 20 rebs a night because his PF was Rashard Lewis. The important thing is you'd have 2 elite rebounders in the lineup, and with Lin, Asik and Harden being good rebounders as well we'd be the top rebounding team in the league. Rebs=more shots for you and less shot for them = win.

Aside from rebounding, Love is really good at passing the ball and before he injured his hand he could shoot from midrange all the way to the 3 pt line. Remember when the Rox had the best offense in the NBA with the Ppat and Morris combo? Well this would be similar, except our PF would actually be able to rebound as well as create possessions for other people.

More importantly though, all the Love haters are forgetting that the dude is only 24 years old. The arguments saying we shouldn't get him are about the same ones people gave when Morey gave Harden the max. Love still has untapped potential, and he can unlock it as he works on his game and learns even more about the NBA. And he isn't someone like DH or Smith who rely on their athleticism either, like Harden Love is all skill, so as he learns more that skill will only grow. Most people who don't like Love say we shouldn't get him because the Wolves sucked, but honestly before this year almost every guy Kahn drafted dropped out of the league. Drafting Flynn, Wesley Johnson Derrick Williams, trading Al Jefferson for Kousta Koufus and Brad Miller, the wolves have one of the worst rosters in the NBA. Also, Love's skillset means he isn't the type of guy who can put everyone on his back and take them to the playoffs, he's best suited as a supporter of the closer. It's like how KG works best taking care of the D and rebs while Pierce is the one who shoots the game winners.

I think keeping Asik and Harden are the biggest ones. I'd hate to give up Parsons but the Wolves don't really have a 3 so they would demand him in any trade for Love.

No elite defenders on perimeter bench will be horrible, and no championship. In sight

his elite rebounding doesn't mesh well with Asik's elite rebounding? um, I don't think just because both stats are high means its not good for the TEAM that both were on the floor at the same time. Wouldnt Love spread the offense better, give us a MUCH better starting offensive option @ PF, and give twice the rebounding opportunity if Asik somehow comes up on the wrong side of a rebound? I wouldn't NOT want Thorpe just because Hakeem was already a good rebounder. Plus, as "bad" as things seem with DMo down low, its a HUGE upgrade anyways, and we're still winning with that slight hole at PF. I'm not saying I think Love is the cure-all, but it'd definitely be better, and I didn't think the good-rebounding/good-rebounding was a great point. now "he stepped on Scola's face" might have worked... lol. :D

I'd rather have love over james harden any day. People are seriously delusional if they value James Harden over Kevin Love.
