Bulls send Kirk Hinrich and the 17th pick to the Wizards! http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2010/news/story?id=5324240
So, the Wizards have Agent Zero and are drafting another PG in Wall, so why in the hell would they trade for KH and his bloated contract. Makes no sense
Arenas and Hinrich can both play either backcourt position, and Wall is big enough to defend either position. Having all three shouldn't create problems from a rotation standpoint, as they will comprise the 1/2 rotation for the Wiz next year. I wonder if this means that Randy Foye won't be back. Hmmmm.... Also, Mike Miller's not coming back. The Wiz have to pay SOMEBODY, and no top free agent is going to want to sign there. Might as well give the money to Hinrich, who will at least play like he CARES and will have a Bball IQ above average, as opposed to the rest of that g-d awful roster.
So many teams with tons of cap room...well 3 actually. New York, Miami, and Chicago. One of them are going to lose out big.
Reports show that SAC might jump in and take this deal from the Wizards since they have the capspace to do this now unstead of waiting till July 8 when the Wizards would be able to make this deal official.
Nah, SAC is in the same boat as the Wiz. They have to wait until July 8, too. The thinking may be, though, that the Kings might offer a more attractive return for Chicago.
yes NY picks better be turned into a very VERY high pick this year. or i want morey to hold them and ill be watching the knicks the entire next 2 seasons.
I was looking at the numbers and I thought so. I'm guess SAC would probably offer better future picks? I don't know what SAC can offer that's better.
Yeah they were convincingly beat by the Celts in that series, they can't stand pat. Pretty sure everyone on that roster not named Dwight Howard is available. I guess Deng would be good off the bench, and maybe push Carter a little more.
