[ESPN] West playoff series we'd like to see

would make for great TV, i wouldn't mind it

i rather play against the best than try to go around them

This would be awesome.

 

Honestly, I'd love this. I don't really think we can beat the Thunder in a 7 game series, but if we can make some noise against the team that was previously touted as the hot up and coming team, I'm thinking we could cement our place as the next hot up and coming team.

If we can make it a series while still being under the cap, a guy like Dwight has to take notice.

 

i'd actually prefer to watch Houston-Memphis. i get the drama/storylines of OKC-Houston series but i think Houston-Memphis would be more intriguing basketball. Memphis for all their defensive prowess have been below average in transition defense. It's such a clash of styles. Also, 4-7 games of Marc Gasol vs. a good defensive center? Give. That's good basketball.

Houston vs. NYK in the Finals.
That would make for great news stories.

We'd kill NYK 4-0 if we played them in the playoffs. I am 100% confident on that.

Of potential 1st round match-ups for OKC, Houston makes the best storyline. Or, maybe the Lakers, depending on whether they've gotten their act together.

But, for the Rockets, I think the most interesting would be Denver, since they are also an all-offense team. And one where the chances for victory are a bit more equitable.

 

I'm ok with playing OKC... it's clippers who have the Rockets' number

Yeah I'd rather play Memphis and even LAC, though this would be exciting.

But honestly I just want us in the playoffs. I don't care who we play. And if we get swept then so be it, but damnit I just want to be in the playoffs.

True...the playoffs is all about matchups, to a degree, and NYK does not match well with the Rockets.
