    You can't blame him. ESPN and TNT brain-washed him and many other NBA fans into thinking the NBA only has 12 teams total.

    Although Brooks has the better stats to make him more in contention for MIP, it isn't a farcry for Scola to win it.

    Brooks is to the Rockets' perimeter offense as Scola is to the interior / post offense.

    And Scola has gone beast mode so many times, its scary.

    The title of the award is Most Improved Player. Statistically-wise, Scola does not have much of an improvement in every single category as Brooks does. He should not be anywhere close in contention.
