No damage to bone or tendon; getting shot in the knee is a flesh wound  That youtuber should edit that video!

there's more to it than what the story says.

what the hell was landry doing out at 4 in the morning, especially knowing that he lives on the bad side of houston.

he was clearly asking to get shot.

i think he was drunk or something or coming home from a nightclub and something must have happened. The rockets are just hiding to what really happened, but sooner or later word will come to what really happened.

No one asks to get shot. No one should be afraid to venture out of the house in their city.

I hope they get this scum off the streets, before I have to don my cape and mask...

Give the guy a break. The time reported is wrong, it was in fact 2:30am and police got the call at 4. Their team plane only arrived at 12:30 so he just wanted to eat... unless he was hitting up grog on the plane then I very much doubt he was drunk.

If he was drunk I seriously doubt he would be able to do the things he did to escape the shooters.

He was out as 2am, not 4am. No one should ever be afraid to leave their home at whatever time. If he was drunk, I'm sure it would have reported already and I doubt he would be able to escape if he was. Give the guy a break.

If you have been mildly drinking and your life is in jeopardy, your instincts will take over pretty quickly. Considering how late the Rockets got in from NOLA, I doubt he was completely smashed if he was drinking at all.

That's what happens in ghetto Houston... This will make players not want to come play here if they can't safely go out and get a bite to eat without being shot at. Get well Carl, I wish I could see you play when I travel to San Antonio this Sunday to cheer on the Rockets.

Is there any point in this?? What makes you judge and jury to decide that the person whose post you quoted should just end their life?? Due to the uncertainty of what actually happened(which will eventually come out but preliminary reports arent always accurate) its a legit train of thought. There may be absolutely nothing to support that but without all the facts its not IMpossible.

Yes the asking to be shot comment was insensitive, but telling someone that you think their life has absolutely zero value(and should end it) based on that makes your comment infinitely more ignorant and insensitive.

To quote a very interesting line of dialog from the Transformers Movie:

    "People!? Responsibility."
