Carter + Swift ($20.92M) for McGrady + Dorsey ($21.18M) or No Deal!

 

I'd send Battier and Artest, but not Landry. Battier, Artest and Head should be more than enough to land Carter.

 

The Nets think that VC is James, at least they did not asked for having Yao. Having said that, I would switch VC with Tmac.

But if Morey is thinking bout this like i said he should be fired. The Artest, Landry, and Head for Vince and Boone was great for both teams but when he tried to offer McGrady for Vince and Hassell that was a bad idea.

No one is dumb enough to take T-Mac and give us anything of value, I hope Clutchfans knows this. Their professional scouts and general managers see the same things about Kneemac as we do.

T-Mac's expiring contract after 2009-10 is more important to the Nets than his health. I don't buy it.

 

"hey Nets, Morey here......Tmac for Carter and Hassell, lets free up some of your cap room"

"hey Morey, will give you Carter plus Boone, and you give us half your team"

The nets don't really want to give Carter away. Simple and Plain!

Morey doesn't do that deal. No way not even close. Give them T-Mac and nothing else. With T-Macs contract they can get into the 2010 mental masterbation derby.

 

i really hope we could get VC for Tracy. only thing that's very hard to not ignore is this: THEY KNOW, he's currently missing time for some injury. he's going around getting 2nd opinons. would they knowingly just accept him and his bum knee? is getting rid of VC's salary that significant to them? i hope so. it would be nice to receive word that Tracy got an opinon asap saying he can play. Doesn't help that Nets are in town tonight and Tracy will be in street clothes (or not even in attendance)

 

Morey messed up and he knows it deep down inside. Every G.M out there knows that McGrady is hurt and is questionable. Why is he even out there trying to field offers for him when his contract isn't up yet. He should have just focused on trading Artest because guys are going to ask about him because he is expiring. Artest, Landry, and Head would have gotten the job down.

Now when he opened his mouth about McGrady for Vince and Hassell New Jersey countered with adding Battier. Lol Morey you messed up and you know it. Should have just took the first deal. If the Rockets really wanted to get rid of Mac they should have at least waited til the offseason when he is more valuable. tisk tisk tisk. Rookie mistake.

 

I'd rather not trade McGrady or Battier (unfortunately, I don't see how you could trade without including one or the other). And, I'm not terribly enamored with Vince Carter. I don't think he is worth missing out on 2010. Landry and Artest I'd miss, but I could do that.

 

Who bluffs first? Houston or New Jersey? Only if T-Mac could play tonight, we could show that he is "healthy"

 

Maybe Morey can get Portland involved, and have NJ take LaFrentz contract.
