damn, you beat me xcharged! Touche...

But it is a surprisingly good article and also it is the longest camp report yet. I am so surprised at how in depth they went for old H-town. Finally getting some respect from the nation. Marc Stein goes next to Bill Simmons as the descent ESPN writers. They even mentioned Bostjan.

Nah, I figured I would start a new thread with the article at the top, make it easier for people to comment about it. Looks like I beat LeGrouper by a few minutes with the article. heh ;)

    Chris

EDIT: Ah, I see the threads have been merged. oh well.

    Couple of things..

    - Francis and Mings relationship... damm their getting along..
    - "The reality, though, is this: Francis admits that the inner-ear thing still lurks in his thoughts and, worse, still causes intermittent discomfort." = Big worry..
    - Also the other injuries so early.. = The great streak of luck from the rockets.. hopefully it doesn't overcome their season

    what moderating skills!

Cut, Paste, Bam! Now two threads become one! The thing that drives me crazy is that someone started one without reading the previous threads. Read then post, Read then post, Read then post. It is like Talking before listening. I used to moderate a forum on a website I won't mention but it was such a pain in the a$$ when people would post the exact same thread seven different times without ever reading any of the other threads that were on the same topic. One thing you will notice about prolific posters here like HP for example is that you can tell they have actually read the other threads for the day when they respond. This is not a post count contest, and the thread starter does not get a piece of cheese.

That's my rant for the week. Pos and Benev

Grouper, I think you are referring to me since I did start the new post. I did see the original post and did read it but you assumed I did not. I felt that in the interest of good discussion it would be best to start a new post with the article instead of having it burried in the previous post with lots of other discussions.

It would be like if someone started a post talking about the game tonight and then someone else went to the game and had a "report." As a BB reader I would rather have the REPORT "start" the thread with disucssion after it versus putting a report in the "middle" of a thread taking about things previous to the situation. That's just where I was coming from if you can see my point.

Notice that I didn't mention your name, and I don't think that anyone should make personal attacks on the internet because first and foremost it is extremely weak. To be honest with you Chris, I was not addressing you personally in my rant, just everybody. It is not like this is the first time this has happened and it is not like I haven't done it too. I am just ranting. That's all. My rants are aimed at myself as much as anyone else so don't think I am sitting here thinking anyone on this board has any less sense than I do. Except for those non-rocket fans who can kiss my a$$ and go to hizell in a shiny shopping buggy!

Grouper, that's cool. No worries. I just wanted to make sure people knew what my intentions were....and that I was not being discourteous to the previous post but was doing something I thought would benefit the board. We have strayed off topic...sorry about that.

    Carry on. :)

I wonder if Bill Russell's first championship team was considered to be young? We have a center who might be great and could go on to win championships like Bill did... throughout his career. I think we have the diverse talent to do something special like that. I'm not saying we're going to, but we have the talent potential to be that kind of team. Now we can call our coach Red Tomjanovich or Rudy Aurbach. Go Rox!!!
