Sad day for the NBA when a team close to contention trades away a key player at the trade deadline for financial reasons. :(

The hornets have terrible fans. No one buys their tickets. They deserve to trade cities.

BTW, Yao has burned the Hornets, Yao plays well against those punks, stop making Yao seems like he has no skills because he is still one of the best players in the league even if he is slow, unathletic, uncharismatic and whatever adjective you can use to describe him

Thunder can easily make the playoffs next year, they have so much potential. Now that they have a big guy who can defend and rebound and finish.

They have so many great rising stars on their team. Westbrook, Durant, Green?

    Just eye popping.

The Thunder just got better. Opposite for the Hornets.

OKC is pulling a Portalnd. Loads of young talent. I feel great for Durant for once, the future of the franchise seems to ve bright. Too bad this isnt happening in Seattle though.

So no draft picks beyond the draft rights to the one guy? o_O

    Kudos, Sam Presti.

Great deal for the Thunder. Once they get another high lottery pick in this years draft they'll be scary.

They can play both small and big with Westbrook, Durant, Green, and Chandler, who all can play multiple possitions.

yeah i definitely agree. it's difficult for the players themselves, when they put in a ton of work in practice and play their hearts out on the court, to know that it's not their effort, but money, that will limit their success.

Im not sold on Chandler at all. I think he's a big, overrated goon.

And everyones been saying the Hornets have got the raw end of this trade - well I wouldnt be so sure.

Veteran leadership and locker room presence from 95's 1st draft pick and the crafty post play and scoring ability of Wilcox.

AND they save a few bucks.

Good move for the Hornets IMHO.

Ive also seen it stated that the Thunder could be really good in a couple of years. Well, I hope that's not being based on THIS deal....Chandler is horrible without an elite PG.

There is a reason why most NBA teams never win a championship. Championship teams don't make a deal like this.
