Thunder basically have added twin towers this season without having to give up any assets. This how they stand for next season: Westbrook, Atkins, Watson, Weaver Durant, Green, Wilkins Krstic, Collison Chandler, R.Swift Barring injuries that should get them into the playoffs in the EC. On top of that they've got a probable high lottery pick of their own and two other low 1st round picks in this year's draft.
Team is starting to shape up. I still think Westbrook is another Randy Foye, ugg. Green seems like a legit peice of the team. Durant is awesome. I think they are a good point guard away from being a .500 team next season.
Thunder are beasts in NBA 2K9.. this is sick for people that play with them haha... But this is good for us because we will probably finish ahead of New Orleans now that Paul doesn't have Chandler to throw 5 alley oops to a game now.
Its official according to ESPN Wilcox and Smith and the rights to a 2nd rounder, I believe. Didn't even get one of their first out of them
the game is about the team who scores the most points... tyson chandler will average 4 or 5 points a game without chris paul
Have you watched Durant this season? Green? Westbrook? They have been doing much better since PJ was fired. If they get Blake Griffen from OU who is an outstanding PF everyone will be watching the Thunder very cautiously. Did I mention they have 3 1st round draft picks.
Can see them .500 next year at best. Few years? Sure, top 5 doesn't seem too hard to imagine with several of the current elite teams having relatively old cores. Seems like a great trade for them.
I agree that it mostly depends on how Green and Westbrook do next year but good god Durant has really blossomed. They could possibly get into the playoffs next season though and that is about a year earlier then I thought they would. With the Suns, Jazz, and Hornets dropping off this year anything is possible next season. Rockets really need a first rounder this upcoming draft.
Sure the guy was a decent defender in the post but he was one of those guys that benefited from a great PG. Weren't like all of his shots dunks and alley-oops? Anyways, I'd like to see how good he does in OKC.
wow, it's like the Hornets just gave up on the season... because of money. What a bummer for their fans.
Agreed this stinks for the Hornets and their fans. Chandler is having a down year but he still anchors everything they do underneath the basket.
great move from rockets POV. poor hornets, great for thunder. i wouldnt worry about either of those two teams being better than the rockets for a couple of years.
Shinn reclaims a spot on the list of worst owners in the NBA. Dude has burned through one city already. How long before he's asking to move to Seattle?
