How does a guy who seems no real skills except being a preacher make 3 million dollars and have absolute control of an organization.

I feel this is cal, maybe Jack has something on him

I wish cal would just throw him out.

The problem is really the whole McNair family.

Easterby is trying to turn this franchise into a wannabe Trump administration. Sniffing out leakers and firing anybody who isn’t loyal to him. The results will be equally as disastrous.

Um, is that what happens with every team? New GM, New Coach...bring in their own people.

ESPN throws in Easterby’s name for sensationalism. However, it is Caserio bringing in his people.

Some of those employees have been there for 14+ years. Jamey was all hyped about his $1 dollar book had been there since the beginning. Suddenly he's just decided to leave. It's just toxic. It's what they do.
    "commitment to Watson".

Why would you continue to double down at this point?

it’s clear that Easterby is going to continue to have a major role in all decisions. They haven’t bothered to refute that.

I guess Watson maybe could have put in a good word for his friend but that would require talking to someone in the organization.

Is this really news? Don't most new GMs replace people in the organization similar to how new head coaches hire new assistants?

“Mike Parson is in his sixth season as director of equipment services for the Houston Texans and handles all equipment needs for the organization and team. He is in his 13th season with the Texans.”

“Doug West is in his 25th season in the NFL and 14th with the Texans.”

“Kevin Krajcovic enters his 15th overall season with the team.”

Chris Olsen - 13 years with the team

Amy Palcic - 7 years with the team

Yes, unfortunately. However, a new GM is going to replace people. We don't know who is the driving force in this move. Not every move is Easterby...as people wanted to be. "Deshaun is close to the equipment manager". I'm sure Watson was close to the cafeteria workers he gave his first check to. So, I guess Easterby is going to fire them too? LOL. Look, Easterby SUCKS. However, people are making him out to be all powerful. Cal McNair made him EVP of football operations. So, he has alot of hire and fire power. Until McNair remedies that mistake....nothing we can do. However, These type of moves happen in ALL organizations when there is leadership change. It is just EVERYTHING is blowup because it is the Texans right now.

EVERYONE in the NFL is looking to try to the trade of Watson happen, especially in New York. A firing of an equipment manager is not going to make a difference. Firing Easterby might, but we know that is not happening at the moment.

No issues with making front office changes, like you said that's the prerogative of any new regime.

Clearing out the equipment management staff, who we now know were incredibly close to and well-liked by the players, smacks of something else entirely, like they were maybe too close to the players for the comfort of certain others who shall not be named.

Possibly. Then again...may be Caserio has someone else he wants to bring in.

How is it that three players tweet the same "above and beyond" comment?

Well, since many on this board have said the Texans are "trash Organization for years", wouldn't bring in new people help change the culture? The complaint is the Texans' haven't done anything in 18 years, why keep the same people on or off the field?

Yes, Easterby needs to go. However, Why not let Caserio clean out everyone? Couldn't be any worse than 4-12?

At this point, there’s no way you can presume that Easterby has “nothing” to do with any decision being made. You’ve again said confidently that this is all Casserio... just like you previously said Easterby would have nothing to do with selecting the GM/coach and how he’d be relegated to no power once they hired those guys.

also, it doesn’t matter what the media wants. It only matters what Watson wants.

What kind of 'culture'? A culture that doesn't have to threaten with a lawsuit due to the paranoia of thinking these employees talked to journalists? That kind of culture?
. That's the thing. It's all going to come crashing down on these imbeciles they're just too high on their power to realize it right now.

If the 'commitment' to Watson is real then why fire people he has close relationships with. What's next week? Cafeteria employees that Deshaun helped get fired?
This 'culture' is bullshyt and has been attempted in other cities by these same cast of characters.
