    Exactly.

He wouldn't have fit in AT ALL here. Way past his prime and too egotistical for his own good.

    Exactly.

The article that had the more accurate details, and the article that was referenced in the first post, made it clear that Stackhouse passed on the Rockets already. Regardless of what RealGM's second-hand reporting might say, Stackhouse is not waiting for the Rockets to sign him.

Even RealGM's short report made it pretty clear that the Rockets passed on Stackhouse. It was just the title that was misleading.

I guess the lesson is not to take for granted that the title is an accurate representation of the story. Its always best to give the story a quick read before posting the link.

Spent too much time in Dallas. Damaged goods.

Besides, we've already got a Stackhouse. His name is Brent Barry.

I wouldn't mind bringing in Stackhouse for a 1yr contract vet min. He's a good player and with Ariza struggling, Taylor hasn't really proven himself, Budinger has no experience and T-Mac injured, we could use him. The only concern I would have with Stackhouse is his health

Oooh gosh. please tell me this isn't true. If this happens then I would question the rockets decision. I mean how many more guys do we need thats past their prime. Steve Francis...Deke ( he did contribute when needed tho )... David Wesley. Jon and Brent Barry... pippen... I mean it never ends. Now Stackhouse.. Gosh I hope they don't offer him anything.
