    Why are the Lakers in the mix?

    Only reason why Lakers would be back is because the Magic is really asking the whole world from Rockets.

    That's my fear. The "no Dwight" proponents will grow even stronger after they see some of our prospects tear it up in SUMMER LEAGUE against lesser competition.

    Don't get me wrong, whatever they show in SL is positive, but people around here are going to get way too carried away in what they're doing.

    Which by the way, how about that Motiejunas? :p

    Marshon Brooks a nice player and he tore it up today against "lesser competition". I would never discredit rookies doing well during Summer League play.

    Maybe that's another reason why the Lakers maybe back in the mix (according to HW).

    2 reasons I see why Lakers would be back:

    - Morey trying to convince Dwight's camp to come here but they're not budging.

    - Morey doesn't want to gut our whole future and just hand it to Orlando, so using the Lakers to help facilitate a trade to share in taking some bad contracts.

    ESPN is also reporting in addition to everything we are giving up, the deal would also include multiple future 1st round draft picks!! That is stupid beyond belief. Not only do you lose Howard after one season (if he goes), you have no young core players, you have no immdeiate future picks and you are loaded with bad contracts. Why Orlando has not pulled the trigger yet is beyond me. I will seriously sop watching the Rockets if they pull of this trade.
