I guess I didn't pay that much attention to Felton last season, but it surprised me to read countless references to Felton as "Fat Felton" "Fatty Felton" and just "Fatty." In a derogatory way, of course. Did Felton "blow up?"
I can some how imagine Morey meeting in secret and apologizing to J. Kidd about him coming to mentor Lin, only to be mentoring Felton instead. Thence, buying him several drinks at a local hot spot and upon leaving says, "Once again, sorry..and drive home safely, pal". He has brought so much controversy to the Knicks in just a couple of days!

Knicks assistant coaches.... oooppps i mean bench WTF Marcus Camby 38 Kurt Thomas 40 Grant Hill 39 Pablo Prigioni 35 Jason Kidd 39
One of the knicks poster's had me rolling "Felton: I will not eat one big Mac, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7"
As I posted in one of these threads earlier -- Lin keeps the Rockets/ China connection rolling (Yao... $$$) -- his contract is chump change compared to how much the Rockets will make with him on the roster. Oh, and he also seems to be really good at basketball. Go Taiwan...
Maybe Morey shorted MSG stock after Lin signed his offer ... either Lin leaves and stock drops, or Lin is matched and MSG shares drop also (MSG trailing 12mth net profit ~$85M, and likely to get a luxury tax hit of well over $50M in 3 years time, wiping out half the profits). Morey Profits ...
Joke right? Know your numbers if you want to troll. Knicks 16-9 with Lin (64% win) and 20-21 without (49%). Jeremy Lin only missed the last 17 games, so the 18-6 you said INCLUDED 7 GAMES OF Jeremy Lin & Knicks going 6-1. ???????????
Lin should be the least of this team's worries. He's working with his trainers non-stop and turned down a ***** ton of endorsement deals over the summer because they took up too much time. This was quoted from his HS coach, that he talks to on the regular. Coach also said that Lin knows there people who still doubt him; kid works hard.
David Aldrige seems to agree with me as well. http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2012/07/17/aldridge-weighs-in-why-knicks-should-keep-jeremy-lin/
