I expect morey to be involved in some sort of way in any trade with melo, he always seems to snatch up a nice grab. Maybe I'm wrong, I just want preseason to start that's a shame lol

They've got enough scorers on that team. Noah holds down the defense and is the energizer of that squad. Big men typically take a few years to really mature into their role and Noah just turned the corner. I expect him to be a highly efficient center for years to come who can allow their defense to be elite. I'd keep the current Bulls squad together to see what they can do with Boozer. I think they'll be scary this year.

Deng went from an undervalued star-in-the-making to an overpaid underachiever in 2 seasons. Weird. They were trying to give him away all summer long. And Hinrich too, but only the Wizards were willing to take Hinrich (and the Bulls had to give $$$ too). So the Bulls were willing to trade Deng to anyone for free and give $$$ too, but nobody wanted that contract.

I thought Melo was all for having a dominant big guy, which is why Houston was originally(i guess its not anymore) on his list of top teams. If the Bulls trade away their starting big man in a deal for Melo, why would he still want to be there? I know they just got Boozer and D-Rose is a monster, but they wouldn't have that dominant big man that Melo thinks is necessary to have in order to win. Some people are saying the Bulls will get Nene...but if he really thought Nene was that dominant post guy you need to win, why would he want to leave Denver in the first place?

VERY VERY Risky, Noah is a star on the rise who would be dynamic in TT's defense. I would have to think twice about this, centers with big time game don't grow on trees and the Bulls are already a contender in the East. Would subtracting Noah, Deng and maybe Gibson but adding Melo be enough to put over the top?

The Bulls can't absorb Nene's contract because the salaries won't match.

The only reasonable trade would be:

Chicago Receives : Carmelo Anthony and Chris Anderson

Denver Recieves : Joakim Noah, James Johnson, Taj Gibson and Luol Deng

But would the Bulls really be better?

    Rose/Watson
    Brewer/Bogans
    Carmelo/Korver
    Boozer/Asik
    Thomas/Anderson

You gotta ask yourself if your the Bulls if that lineup is a significant improvement for this one?

    Rose/Watson
    Korver/Bogans
    Deng/Brewer
    Boozer/Gibson
    Noah/Thomas

I think not because Noah and Boozer combo would be deadly against a team that has a soft frontcourt like Miami or Atlanta.

This is assuming Denver takes back Deng's albatross contract, which I don't understand why thet would do if they are truely gonna rebuild.

You made things confusing with your lineup replacements. Why are you moving Korver and Brewer around? But I guess you're asking: is upgrading Deng to Melo, worth downgrading Noah to Birdman and Gibson to Asik(?). I don't know the answer to that.

If I'm Denver I'd do the deal for Noah.

    C'mon Morey, make it a 3way trade.

Let's get Noah for Hill and Martin.

I'd be all for doing a deal that gets us Noah, that would create one HELL of a frontline BUT not for Hill AND Martin. For Noah i'd sacrifice some combination of Hill, Bud, PP, Brooks or Lowry plus the picks but not Martin. Not that Martin is untouchable or anything but it makes us VERY uneven unless another SG comes along to either start or backup Lee.

why in the hell would denver take on deng to get noah, james johnson, and taj gibson?

noah is due for a big raise after this year too, so it's not like he is going to have a cheap contract for very long.

this trade makes very little sense for denver.

As a Bulls fan, I can tell you a majority of Bulls fans wouldn't do this trade.

Noah has grown on us, and we'd rather keep our rebounds and defense, then raise our scoring/assts. With Noah we're still a contender, still young, and still have money to spare next offseason. Without Noah, we may be more of a contender but I feel like chemistry problems might arise, even though I love Melo as a player, I like the young bulls who have grown up together more and Noah & Rose have great chemistry.

Plus Noah's just a fun guy man, I've seen him out and he's always out having a good time in the city and I've never heard of him being an ass nor have I seen him being one.

Now Deng/Gibson and some draft picks for Melo I'd do in a heartbeat. Deng is a dud, underperformer, and just shows lack of enthusiasm and any sort of "step up" mentality. Gibson is a great hustle player and can provide good D and some garbage buckets.

Should somehow make this a three team trade with the cavaliers.

    I heard Noah loves Cleveland
