    But I still think we need another spark plug scorer off the bench (Corey Brewer maybe??)

    That makes sense. Anyone who actually watches and pays attention to the team knows this. Injuries, trades, and more roster change aside this team was also better than 42 win record says.

    I like and respect wat OKC's become but theres no way their better than us this yr.. we owned them 3-1 last yr without Yao, we may jus sweep them this yr ;)

    comin outa Florida he was a defensive player and last yr hes posterized some guys but has he really developed into that good of an offensive player? if so Minn is dumb for letting him go.. then again Kahn is theur GM ;)

    Why are the Thunder ranked so high? Did I miss something? They made 8th seed last season and played LA well. Good for them. But top five team?? Did they sign somebody or draft somebody and I didn't hear about it?

    Yeah they got the 8th seed but they could have easily gotten a better seed if they had won a couple more games.

    They have an improving Durant who is probably the best scorer in the Nba, and other young guys who are expected to improve.

    I was surprised to see this as well... I love the Rockets, but 5th?

    A couple of things do help us. Phoenix and Utah are going to be a lot worse. We did not get a major free agent, but are without a doubt the best positioned team in the NBA to make a blockbuster trade during the season (Welcome to Houston Chris Paul?). Particularly if NY is as bad as I expect it to be. San Antonio and Dallas are getting old... The West will definitely not pull off the same insane thing of 8 teams with 50 wins again

    I am just tired of seeing the "If Yao is healthy" statement. It is starting to seem as if you cannot use Yao and healthy in the same sentence... But if Yao is healthy, yes we could definitely be a top 5 team.
