This is true but Tebow is a below average QB. What kind of QB can't even pass? The amount of hype he gets is absurd for being mediocre. Lin is still very unproven but he is definitely better than average and he gets a lot of publicity since he is the only decent Asian baller in the NBA. Tebow gets more hype than most elite QBs.
^^Agree! This is NY sports politics & journalism at its dirtiest. SAS did an ounce of prevention before MSG tumbled further down the stock market. Saved Dolan's Millions in the process and prevented many Knicks fans joininging Nets. Still have to remember that Dolan (knicks owner) controls one of the biggest media networks in US. He has many media dogs under his wings that will bark up anything at the snap of his fingers. He literary has most of Knicks fans brainwashed. Fans are his afterthought in many of his decisions in the past. He always fixed up his booboo's via his media outlets. Why do you suppose for a team who hasn't won a title in 40 years, won one playoff game in a decade, and charged the second highest tix price but also has one of the biggest fanbase in NBA? Dolan reigns his empire by the power of media.
in the height of it all, i can remember thinking "these people seem to be so sold on the hype they probably think he's a better QB than Rodgers". Lin is a different sort of story, his detractors as well as his supporters are heavily based in racism, plus it was the whole new york thing (as opposed to Tebow being the weakest link of what was an otherwise potential contender in Denver)
Stop putting Lin and Tebow in the same sentence it makes Lin look bad he is by far the better player in his sport, than Tebow is in his This is actually a "slight" againist Lin, cant believe you guys dont realize it
But don't you realize that is spend 10 seconds with Tim Tebow your life is better for it. If you spend 10 seconds with Lin he will make feel stupid.
