Well you cant change water into wine. There is no way we can move Taylor for the PF we want. I mean look at the Wesley for JJ moves. Seems like a non-move but yet look at the results that were yielded!

Moving Taylor for ANYTHING right now is a plus. Taylor is a NONFACTOR on this team. So, anyway we can move Taylor to add more bench depth at some key positions would be a plus. If we could move Taylor for someone with less YEARS on their contract that would be a plus.

Keep in mind with Cliff, this is the LAST YEAR on his deal. So if we could move Taylor for Cliff it would basically be lopping off Taylor's salary. That would be a godsend to this team!

Just for the sake of argument, if Ho goes down what could reasonably expected from Mo? I'd guess a decent, even-level to JH replacement.

Didn't Kurt Thomas lead the NCAA in scoring his senior season at TCU? I might be wrong, but I do know he was a major scorer in college. He might not be the scorer in the NBA that he was in college, but I think he can easily replace the 9.5 PPG Juwan is contributing these days.

Add in an increase to about 10 boards and much better interior defense, and I think Kurt Thomas is perfect for what we need this year at PF. He can guard the other team's best post player and allow Yao to rest and stay out of foul trouble. He is a proven rebounder, defender and playoff warrior who could be invaluable in a conference with Tim Duncan, Amare Stoudemire and Dirk Nowitzki waiting in the playoffs.

Taylor for Jerome Williams straight up doesn't work salary-wise. We certainly would have to take on an additional bad contract (Moochie Norris...).

Sam, are you sure we're talknig about the same guy? Maybe you are thinking of Tim Thomas? He shoots 40% from the field.

Kurt Thomas actually has a nice 15-18 foot jumper and is around 47%FG. His shot is not just a chuck. It has actual form. Don't you remember any of the games we had vs the Knicks?

Oh well, two out of three ain't bad. At least Baker's contract is shorter than Kurt Thomas's.
