    1. He signed a contract. Be a man, have some testicals and act like a god damn professional. There is no reason to go spouting off like a prepubescent child when there are SEVERAL players that an EXCELLENT coach would rather play in front of you. A great coach that values defense. Rudy doesn't like defense, THAT is the problem. Bravo Nate Mac...

    2. You assume I am addressing you. You assume that I even looked at your post...

    3. So why did I see Jerryd Bayless, Nicolas Batum, Andre Miller and Martell Webster stealing his minutes at the SG this year?

I'll answer that for you, Because they ARE ALL BETTER PLAYERS.

    4. Dear lord... Mention Petrovic and Rudy "37% from the field" Fernandez again and I might **** in my pants...

    5. You sign on the dotted line, you do the work like a professional. He is handling himself like a soft, spoiled, entitled, dickcheese...

Shane Battier and Chuck Hayes should give him some... (How to act like a pro 101)

His sorry ass needs to go back to Europe, with that kind of diva attitude...

    Or maybe to the Pistons...

If you sign on the line that is dotted, you do what is best for your team, period...

Shut your mouth, get in the damn weight room, because I KNOW you need it.

Prove yourself in the 23 minutes that you get every night. Where you shoot 37 percent from the field and play **** defense...

DD, you are hopeless. You have the worst tunnel-vision of anyone here. Debating you is pointless because you only argue rhetoric and theory when the facts don't back you up. For some reason I thought you watched a lot of Blazers games but clearly I'm wrong. You don't know Rudy's game very well at all. When players flatline after they enter the NBA, they blame others or their "situation". You've swallowed it hook, line and sinker by saying it's all because he backs up Brandon Roy. 23 mins/game last season was more than he deserved. Until Rudy actually improves, he will continue to struggle in the NBA. Once the league figures you out, you can't stay the same and expect similar results. I've seen this happen to countless players. But since you like Rudy, his lack of development and diva attitude (without the skills to back it up) are just "meh".

I can understand him just wanting to play basketball.

The problem is that he just isn't that good. Maybe I will end up being proven wrong but I doubt it because 9 out of 10 times when a guy "just doesn't fit the system he is in" he moves and doesn't fit the next system or the system after that....because he just isn't that good.

Morey won't go after this guy because has had a chance to take a long, good look at him in the NBA and...guess what....he just isn't that good ;)

Very well put. For some, it just can't be the players fault.

Of course, someone will pull 2 or 3 examples out of several hundred to hang on to their thread of a premise. For example, Steve Nash's first 2-3 seasons in the NBA were inspiration for many wishful-thinking fans of failed PGs.

Wow, looking back at my post, that was clearly out of line.

I hope I didn't offend anyone and if I did, I take full responsiblity and hope all is well.
