My personal order for summer 2013. Since I'm not a writer I don't have to add "sources say" lol

    Howard: Max.
    CP3: Max.
Bynum: 3 years / $40-45 mil / team option on 3rd year so he can be a potential summer 2014 trade asset regardless of his play
    Paul Millsap: 4 years / $40-45 mil
    Josh Smith: 4 years / $45-50 mil
Jose Calderon: 2 years / $15 mil / backloaded, team option on 2nd year

Priorities for every move we make from here on out:
Have to save room to pay to keep Chandler in 2014.
Have to upgrade true post position.
Have to upgrade true PG position.
Can always add a scoring wing at any time.

I would be stunned if the Rockets drank the Bynum kool aid.

Win the Josh Smith sweepstakes for under the max and then try to trade him for LMA in the future.

Yes to all three. Any one of the three would immediately be the second best player on the team. Howard - max, yes. Smith - max, yep. Bynum - 3 for 45, third year as team option.

Haha I'm always drinking the Jose kool-aid, my brother posts on these forums, kinda of an inside joke.

But in all seriousness, the guy could be a really good piece in our second unit. Last year he hit a streak where any team without a PG was salivating for his services.

Howard is having a down year but he is still putting up Max numbers for a 5 So I would jump on that.

J Smoove is a darn good defender and would be a great fit on our team, Im just not sure i would give him the Max. But we would probably have to just to actually get him to sign here cause someone will offer him it.

Bynum can stay in Philly for all i care, i dont want him just cause he is a dirty player.

best case scenario Dwight and J smoove really are Besties and they both take less to come together in H-Town! Then we party like the Miami Heat! Not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six! :D

They should just bring back Yao Ming. It's the same thing, you're going to get the same thing with Bynum. A guy playing with one foot. Just bring back Yao. Oh please basketball gods, or David Stern, block us from getting Bynum just like you blocked us on the Gasol trade.

If Zach actually said this - and that's a big if - then we can take it as at least silver if not gold or platinum. Lowe and Simmons are the only ones in the media who actually know what Morey is doing.

And if it's true, do you really think that Morey is going to stray from his principles and overpay these free agents? He hasn't done it yet so I doubt he will now.

    In Morey I Still Trust.

I know Morey likes to take risks, but Bynum. He could be done right now.

Hope that the sources were just made up. If Houston can't get Howard to come, I'd much rather just stick with Asik for now. Bynum is a true team cancer. As for J Smoove, if it's for less than the max, then we have to sign him. If he wants max, dude is crazy. If you ask me there is only about 10 players that truly deserve a max contract in the NBA. But, GM's are stupid.

I'm not saying he isn't a solid player but he's of no use to us for the money he'll be paid.

Good. Sign Bynum and have him sit out 35+ games. Sounds like a perfect idea!

Who the hell needs Asik anyways?

He's part of the "anyone but Lin" brigade. Just ignore.

I'm curious if Clutch thinks the Rockets would roll the dice on Bynum after the ordeal with Yao Ming?
