All the reports coming out are making these guys look foolish...Bucher, Stein and now Wojo.

STEIN_LINE_HQ Sources say Knicks remain interested in both T-Mac trade AND dealing Al Harrington to Chicago for Tyrus Thomas and Jerome James

Now that I think about it, I don't know if I'd want Kevin Martin anyways, cause I don't like playing as him in NBA 2k. ;)

Maybe Tyrus Thomas is their idea of making up for losing Jordan Hill...idk why they hardly ever play the guy but their fans seem to not want to give up.

Lol at Aldridge. He thinks Amar'e is staying in PHX because of PHX's reluctance to trade Amar'e to MIA or CLE.

"If you don't take those trades, why would you take a trade from teams with lesser players?"

Umm...Cleveland offered Hickson, and Miami didn't even want to offer Beasley...many other teams can do better than that.

ChrisMannixSI Rockets are simply trying to get the best deal they can for McGrady. No major pressure to deal him $15 mil in cap space this summer if stays

    WRONG

    Chicago offload Hinrichs contract.

Sac starts Tyreke at 2 and finds a quality backup point guard in Lowry and a realiable cheap big man in Scola. They also get a pick from Chicago.

Houston gets a scorer wingman, a point guard who fits better than Lowry with more experince, and a 4 with potential and athleticism in Tyrus.

This kind of a move can be the Morey's trick tomorrow. And let Knicks burn in the hell with Jared Jeffries clogging their capspace while Lebron, Wade, Bosh and rest of the NBA laughing their ass of to Donnie Walsh.

For these so called insiders and experts, they sure do not know much about the cap situations.

IMO, All the pressure is on Walsh. Clear cap space for 2 max players or your 2 year mission to get Lebron is in jeopardy. If I understand correctly, if they don't move Jefferies, they might not even be able to keep David Lee (after signing a max player) Do you really haggle over floor mats when you're trying to buy a mercedes?

In contrast, relatively low pressure on Morey. If the deal isn't sweet enough, just let Tmac expire. Epic fail? It depends on what was offered. If Morey doesn't get a kings ransom for Tmac, that probably means it wasn't out there to be had, regardless of how many phone calls you make or how early you try to strike that deal.

Actually, partially correct. They would have to renounce Scola, Lowery, and maybe Hayes to get that.

Both Morey and Walsh do not have high pressure.
No one expect Rockets & NY will be contender in one or two years...

Nothing really new from Berman. Knicks the main focus with Chicago likely being out of it. "Multiple sources" indicate it could very well go down to the 2 pm deadline, with the possibility of doing nothing still there.
