no picks, no prospect, no trade.
Its Morey they are dealing with. Who knows what will be on ESPN front page tmr morning. Morey will have something that is not been reported or rumored, he always does...even if he doesnt, he's the GM and we just have to watch what he could do.

I still believe in DM, but I'm kind of losing faith in this particular deal. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

i really think Morey is trying to get Kevin Martin, but
he will be giving up either Scola or Battier

Maybe Mcgrady to Bulls Thomas/Hinrich/Scola to Kings and Kevin Martin/Nocioni
    to Rockets

Walsh is winning this battle. Morey going back to Chicago proves that, Morey doesn't like the NYK deal for whatever reason (No Hill or No Picks) so he's trying to scare the Knicks again by saying he's going elsewhere....what are the Knicks doing?

They are just waiting this out...

Hopefully I AM WRONG...but if all the rumored deals are true...then it looks like Morey will not get what he wants when he comes back to the Knicks.

The Houston Rockets may have Tracy McGrady still sitting on their roster by the end of the trade deadline as talks between potential partners have stalled.

McGrady appeared to be headed to the Bulls in a three team trade involving Houston, Sacramento, and Chicago, but the deal fell apart when Chicago traded John Salmons to Milwaukee. Talks with the Knicks broke down when the Rockets began dipping into New York's future first round picks. Talks are continuing, but when all is said and done, McGrady could remain in Houston and the Rockets remain empty-handed.

Well the Bulls will wanna get rid of Kirk Hinrich with Salmons gone. So what teams are interested in Hinrich? Portland, Memphis, Boston, LAL. Portland doesn't have the expirings to get that done. Neither does Memphis. Boston is going after Nate. That leaves LAL.

Chicago Trades: Kirk Hinrich, Brad Miller, Tyrus Thomas
Chicago Receives: Tracy McGrady, Adam Morrison, Josh Powell, Brian Cook

Houston Trades: Tracy McGrady, Brian Cook
Houston Receives: Brad Miller, Tyrus Thomas, Jordan Farmar

LAL Trades: Adam Morrison, Josh Powell, Jordan Farmar
    LAL Receives: Kirk Hinrich

Chicago gets rid of Hinrichs contract and picks up their expirings (mainly tmac)
Houston gets rid of Tmac and is able to get a center in miller and a young post in ty thomas and a 3rd pg/sg in farmar.
LAL picks up Hinrich for their trash.

As I have reluctantly been predicting.

Still, I would rather stand pat than do that Sacramento trade...

No way. The whole point of the trade for the Knicks is to get Jeffries off their team.

LOL, duh. But the Knicks would have to be on drugs to even consider a deal like that. The whole purpose is to take Jefferies.

It sucks to be a Rockets fan at the trading deadline... I mean, when was the last major splash or multi-team trade that we made at the deadline? Honestly?
