I really hope that deal is just some crazy rumor...because that is indeed horrible. Makes it seem like we are desperate to get rid of Tmac.

We might not trade T-Mac, and it might mean DM mis-played his hand.

It happens. The best poker players lose plenty of hands.

No, WE have been/are in a position of strength ....The Rockets were always going to get the world for this contract .....The "offers and teams" falling by the wayside are tells as to how nice this haul will be IMO.

Keep in mind that Noch and Udrih have a 3-year contract around 7 million.

    Just take the NYKs trade...

That Kings rumour can't be true. Morey rejected Chicago because Salmons 1 year 6 million contract and still considering to take just 7 million contract of Jeffries with all these picks and Hill, don't expect him to accept a deal costs 13 million per year for the next 3 years (Nocioni&Udrih).

Wojnarovski just made up this rumour.

Why is Morey opposed to the inclusion of John Salmons in the deal?

Tyrus Thomas, Brad Miller, and Salmons seems like the best deal on the table.

Adelman loves Miller - he's a great passing big man, has the ability to stretch the D, and has a very high basketball IQ.

Thomas is a physical specimen, and he's only in his 3rd year in the league. He runs the floor, can finish around the rim, and protects the basket on the opposing end. He's the most desirable piece in the deal, and still has room to improve in this league.

Salmons can score the rock, which is something we've been lacking at the 2 guard.

Walsh knows our team wants to get rid of Tmac just as bad as their team wants to get rid of Jeffries.

The picks are the big deal here. With the Knicks history, they've always traded these picks away unprotected and paid for it.

    From realgm.com

"The Rockets are attempting to recruit the Kings to enter into a three-way deal in order to salvage a deal that would send Tracy McGrady to the Rockets, according to sources that spoke to Yahoo!"

The Rockets are trading for McGrady

Yes. Everyone here just seems to assume Isiah is still the Knicks GM and were just going to get everything we want. It isn't that easy.

Still, I see a Knicks trade or standing pat.

I think everyone here thinks Walsh is just going to bow down to Morey or something.

Two Unprotected picks and J.Hill is alot to ask just to take Jeffries off your team.

I think they will meet a middle ground. Hughes+Hill+Jeffries+Protected pick.

Either they meet a middle ground or Tmac is staying.
