i don't like the Jamison trade to the Cavs. It increases the likelihood of Lebron staying there, which makes Walsh less likely to give us value for taking on jefferies.

I'd like to take the Ny deal now, even if it's just Hill plus the swap of picks in 2011 or the 2012 Ny pick outright.

if Amare winds up in Miami, that's going to increase the likelihood of Wade staying, further reducing what Walsh will be willing to give to us.

The funny thing was how many people didn't learn to simply "trust Morey" and the immediate reaction was that it was a move to dump salary, and that we downgraded at point guard.

I remember comments like, "Obviously he sucks, he can barely get playtime with the Grizzlies, so he totally sucks." Definitely the reaction was mostly negative from these fools here.

Most people really don't care one way or the other Roll eyes. Go start another poll someplace and find out who joins you there, go take a flying F9*k at the moon, most of us could care less in this thread, Just go post this crap where it belongs. When we want to read about your appreciation or lack thereof, we will go there to read it and we will post there and we can all eat smores and sing Cumbaya. On this thread, we want to talk about the potential deal or news of the deal and not have to sift through T-Mac love or hate crap. Can I get an Amen from the Congregation?

The question is, where was Morey when The Mavs and Cavs were fleecing Washington out of Butler and Jamison? I would have taken Jamison over Butler anyway.

A package of McGrady, Dorsey, and Buddinger would have been able to get Jamison.

If Morey was smart, he would throw that same package at Washington for Josh Howard and Mike Miller. Both players are expiring and could only help Washington get less lottery balls come June. The Wizards would hope Dorsey or Buddinger become a steal.

Incidentally, I tried this on NBA trade machine and it claims you can't trade Drew Gooden or Josh Howard in conjunction with another player, however that is exactly what they did tonight with Gooden.

The waiting is absolutely killing me. Seriously, does the GM staring contest really need to last until the deadline? I'm kind of annoyed because I thought there may be followup trades, given that the Knicks trade would totally take us out of the FA market next year.

I think he meant when "Blockbuster" trades surprises us. When the most known player in a trade is Rafer freaking Alston, nobody really cares to even "break" the news anyway.

If you had any reading comprehension skills you would realize my post was not an appreciation of Tmac as u incorrectly called it, nor would you have failed to noticed that it was a response to another posters question/ascertation of the Rockets current predicament. So before you again misread or misunderstand what simply requires basic reading skills, my post was simply a RESPONSE to someone elses and if You dont like to "listen" to it, here's a tip for you in terms you might understand... DO NO, READ. got it? thx.

It has been posted, but thank you for not starting another thread like most would have done. With how fast this thread is moving, this is news that may need to be posted on each page. :)

What time is the trade deadline at again? Isn't it like 4 EST? I'll probably still be at work, not refreshing my browser constantly. Thank god for working at a sports bar restaurant.

We all know that's not true. Too exciting to not miss. I kind of think all the craziness is close to Cabin fever.
