I suppose a Dorsey and/or Cook is gonna be shipped out no? At least those were the rumors before.

If Noah isn't involved and the Bulls aren't giving up a couple of first rounders, the Knick deal is superior. It'd be great if one of those picks was completely unprotected.

i agree that i would want the 2012 pick too... but that's what negotiations are for. if they only want to give one pick, then i'd say lets not swap in 2011 just give us your unprotected pick and maybe second rounder this year.

my point was just that i like the knicks offer better, even if its only hill and a future pick because those two assets will be more valuable long term acquisitions than anything the bulls can offer.

I can't see any way on earth that Bosh or Wade take that kind of discount, because even if they did - a team with Wade, Johnson, the four leftover Knicks from this year and 5 minimum-level scrubs is a 5-8 seed at best.

Players will take a discount if they're going to a Lakers-type situation. They won't if they're not going to contend, at least not imo.

I still think that's the case. Rockets want to get as close as they can under the luxury cap. I still think the Rockets could be involved in another deal outside of this. One of the PF's are leaving I think...

    I vote NY.
If the Rockets still want Brad Miller this summer, I would think they would have no problem signing him as a free agent for fairly cheap

If the Rockets are thinking long term and what is best for this team overall, I think the Knicks deal makes much more sense. But have to get that protection....

Actually I don't know Chris Mannix was saying the Bulls offer was probably superior right before he said the Rox/Knicks were finalizing so they might have thrown in a 1st rounder but I'd say their is a better chance the Knicks suck then the Bulls.

Don't be shocked if another team besides the Bulls or Knicks makes an offer and we accept. There's still a lot of time left.

i'd give up a lot to get noah.

but i agree... if the bulls aren't giving us long term solutions like the knicks are, then no to their offer.

i'm not saying it does, but it will help us in our playoff drive. and he played with adelman before so he knows the offensive system.

i think they'll sign at least bosh/joe johnson/amare (out of those 3). those aren't the knicks main targets (lebron/wade), but we will see.

again, tmac is their fallback plan. if he's good, he might just resign for the MLE.

I think he was jumping the gun on this trade. Nothing yet has been confirmed. Morey is playing the waiting game. It's the smart move to make.

i don't see it. only the knicks are desperate to dump jeffries to free cap space and are willing to throw around draft picks.

the bulls also want to do the same.

i think it will be those 2, and the winner will be the knicks.

The only way Johnson is leaving is due to the Hawks not wanting to pay him. Other than that, I don't see him leaving. Amar'e wants to go to Miami based on everything that was stated this afternoon. Not only that, Amar'e is too much of a baby to handle NY Media..

    And the fans in Atlanta.

Johnson has said before that he's disappointed in the fans in Atlanta.
