We can't Marbury Tmac because Tmac's not Marbury. Egotistical and selfish as he may be, he's not a raving lunatic like Marbury. Last time I checked, McGrady hasn't tried to blackmail the coach.

I think you're underestimating the backlash we'd receive from acting like this. We've already heard the rumblings, from the likes of Barkley. Dwade stepped up to the plate for McGrady. If we sit a willing and (from all accounts) ready to go player with a reputation like McGrady's, there WILL be a deluge of players and talking heads running the Rockets management through the mud.

    I assume, but if the Bulls can't find a 3rd team?, I don't know.

It seems this will depend on the bulls' will. The bulls have more assets for sure.

Let's look at the rest of the Bulls' assets:

    Kirk Hinrich (overpaid Harry Potter)
    Jerome James (expiring)
Luol Deng (unlikely to be dealt)
    Taj Gibson
    Jannero Pargo (scrub)
    James Johnson (who?)

Not much doing here. I think it's likely Salmons/Miller/Tyrus unless Chicago wants to throw in a future 1st rounder.

Well if it comes down to equal offers, you take Salmons (a team need) over Jefferies every day of the week.

I think besides being in Chicago already, Mcgrady would be great for the Bulls. He is basically Bull&#@ anyways.

The deals are similar in that the Rockets are giving up the same peices (McGrady, Cook, Dorsey) and taking back ~ salaries. However, the reason I prefer the NY deal over the Chicago deal is the swapping of 2011 picks and/or the 2012 first rounder. Unless Chicago throws multiple picks in the deal, I'd say take the New York offer.

What happened to the 2011 Knicks second round pick? Wasn't that suppose to be in there, too?

    1 min from web

After watching Knicks quit last night, Walsh has got to be thinking he's got to do this because status quo dooms them now and future.

    3 min from web

Hearing from T-Mac sources Knicks-Bulls battle could go "down to the wire.'' The wire being tomorrow at 3. Hopefully not the case.

I think the Bulls really want a shot a Wade. This is pretty wild!
