This reminds me of this time last year when we traded for Kyle Lowry...

yes..im happy with c-bud and he was a second rounder. plus morey would trade down anyway because he is a wizard at drafting in the second round

so can anyone explain why lebron would go to ny over chi? Chi just has a flat out better team. Both are huge markets and lebron would be following in the footsteps of jordan.

he either goes to chi or stays in cle.

Do you know what our Salaries look like in 2011?

We are SET! Yao, battier and even Andersen are expiring.

We have multiple draft picks and young talent.

We won't be contenders but Morey will build a contender through the draft.

the way the spurs did it.

The reason for that is Tracy McGrady's downfall. His expiring contract is not enough to get anything big done. DM has to decide whether to pursue a deal or not, depending on the "best" offer that he gets.

Hmm....So as I understand it, this are the two trades...

Bulls trade: Tyrus Thomas, Brad Miller, Jarome James...

Knicks Trade: Jordan Hill, Larry Hughes, Jared Jeffries, 2011 first round swap, 2012 first round pick....

I'm leaning NY unless Chicago includes their 2010 1st rd pick

we have no one to build a franchise around, except an injured Yao. we have a group of role-players. the way to build a winning team is through the draft and young players with a lot of upside. if we trade with chicago, we get a bunch of expirings and a few good role-players. on the other hand if we trade with NY, we get to swap 1st rounders, get another 1st round pick, and another second with Hill, and expiring Hughes or a good player in Harrington who actually can play. we also take on Jeffries for a year, but that's the price you pay to get the draft picks and Hill.

Miller, Salmons, and TT are not gonna make us that much better, if they were willing to give us picks a la NY, then i'd have to consider the Chicago deal simply because they are offering us better players now and they are also expiring.

either way, if morey can pull off the NY trade and net us a few picks + Hill, that would be great.

Why dont you understand that we arent thinking for the present we are thinking long term and what will be best for the Rockets. Those two picks and Hill and possilbly a second round will give the Rockets so much flexability to make impact moves.

Good analysis. Morey is only using the Chicago trade as leverage in the NYK trade.

    Please be a gambling man...please.

Let's make it a $100 tip jar bet and $400 worth of Rockets tickets bet. And let's hope the NY trade gets done.

WojYahooNBA Bulls were gathering information on Tracy McGrady late Tuesday that suggested they were alive in the bidding with NY, a league source said.

The Bulls are looking for a 3rd team to cockblock the Knicks.

    Let's see what happens.
