I guess you missed the memo when Deron said he'd only sign with Dallas or Brooklyn.

Seem's like the Rockets are after a big man for the third straight draft, and you know what they say third time is the charm! ;)

He's not talking about matching salaries.

Yeah it makes a lot of sense for us...because it's terrible for Sacramento.

Dream scenario -- Bobcats screw up and draft Drummond (ick, dude's a busty bust bust waiting to happen) and Robinson slips to number 5.

    BOOM

    T-Rob

Lowry, Scola, 14th for 5th, Garcia, Evans, makes sense to me.

Then draft Teague with the 16th.

    Would be phenomenal.

I just hope Drummond is still there at 5 and or 7 because I have a feeling bobcats or cavs might get him hope I'm wrong

The only problem with that is Patterson and Donuts would be behind him on the depth chart.

Amen, and boy did you bold the right word. MOBILE! How many guys that age are that size? And how many of them are mobile?

No, he's not a finished product -- if he was he'd be the #1 pick. And I agree he could ultimately be a bust, as some lottery players prove to be, but I'd hate to think the Rockets have such a short-sighted view that they can't see putting some real development time into an "asset" with big payoff potential.

I did see that, however I don't believe it if Dwight does get traded here. Why wouldn't he consider Houston if we get Dwight? He wants a chance to contend and that's what we'll be doing with Dwight and him.

I'm pretty sure Deron wouldn't put it out there "I'll go to Dallas or Brooklyn or any team that Dwight goes to and makes them into a contender". A trade would change everything.

My guess with the whole #5 pick trade scenario is this:

    - Lowry + #14
    for
    - #5 (Drummond)

I could see any one of Evans/Dalembert/Scola/Hayes being included because it would make sense.

The trade would pair Lowry with Cousins (which is good for SAC). Scola would do well with Cousins too as he could play outside the paint and give vet leadership.

Oh jeez, there are some homers here with your trade ideas. Soooo one-eyed with your trades it ain't funny.

And so what, Dwight comes here for a years rental. He'll probably b**** the whole year saying "I got traded to Houston and I didn't want to play there... yadayadayada...", plus who the heck is he going to play with just Dragic? Seems like we're shipping half the bloody team out for him.

Drummond's overall efficiency was 6th worst out of 26 big men measured.

He is the 2nd worst at getting to the free throw line, a metric the Rockets value highly.

He was THE worst back to the basket scorer by a wide margin, scoring 0.578 points per possession. In those possessions he shoots 32%.

His points per 40 mins ranks 76th out of 85 collegiate players measured. His PER ranks 47th.

He shoots freakin' 29% from the FT line, you'd think that he can only improve from there, but that number actually declined to 18% in his last 10 games.

He grabs 6.0 defensive rebounds per 40 mins, ranking 32nd out of 50 centers.

Besides all that, you are right, he certainly looks like that superstar center we all want. He just doesn't play like one.

With Lowry gone, Drummond on board with his rookie deal, can we get the salaries to match up for Dwight?

Pretty cryptic tweet... Maybe they let Kyle know they're working him into a trade.

    He's 18.

    He's 18.

    He's 18.

    He's 18.

    He's 18.

    He's 18.

As I asked before, can't we go through a littany of NBA stars that weren't so studly at 18? Bynum is now the 2nd best C in the league. Did you see how he looked at 18?

Dide may be a bust, but can you really make that claim at 18? And exactly what would we be giving up to get him? Two mid round picks and a PG that wants out?

If we get the #5 and the draft goes Davis, Robinson, Barnes, Beal

would you take MKG or Drummond. I like Drummond, but I love MKG's game.

    Badabing. Badaboom. Badabang.

He may be able to run. But he can't play basketball. Perhaps he should be a track star.

lol at Cxbibby. Next he'll be telling us thatmMarchs Morris is a future HOFer.

Clearly there are holes in the dudes game, currently. Otherwise Drummond would be the number 1 pick.

We still don't know a lot, except that jopatmc operates on a different hemishphere than Morey.
