So, dwight leaves, Kmart leaves next year, we tank and in 2015 get Andrew Wiggins. Sure, I'd like to have the next Lebron/Pippen :)

The only thing as futile as trying to "teach" height is trying to "teach" heart. If he doesn't have it now, it doesn't matter how young he is, he won't suddently develop it.

We should go after Dwight. If he re-signs: GREAT!

If he doesn't resign: Welcome to Houston Jabari Parker/Andrew Wiggins!!!

Win, win situation for the Rockets. Dwights stay, the Rockets have their franchise player. Dwight leaves, it sets up the Rockets to tank the right way.

Everybody knows Dwight wants to be in Brooklyn. It is in his interest to make as much noise as possible now to scare everybody else off.

When it comes down to having to sccept less money to avoid resigning anywhere but Brooklyn, I'll believe it when I see it.

Plain and simple, he won't be traded to Brooklyn or LA unless they are willing to part with Bynum. The thing is, if Howard is to be traded, it's most likely going to be to Houston. Brooklyn doesn't have the assets and Buss has a man crush on Bynum. Howard will probably be traded here, and I can bet you anything that Morey will use this to his advantage and go after Deron Williams with everything he's got. If we can''t get Deron, and Dwight leaves.... this results in almost a completer rebuild which is what most of us want anyways. There are some terrific prospects in the next 2-3 years specifically Andrew Wiggins (who is being hailed the next Lebron, but with a better jumpshot) and Jabari Parker (being hailed the next Carmelo Anthony, but humble). It's a win-win situation. If we get this done, we finally will have a direction and will go up or down. I'm tired of just floating and I'm sure many other people are too. Anyone who doesn't want to go after Dwight is delusional and needs their brains to be checked at a mental institute.

We don't know if it will be a win win situation if Howard comes to Houston. If he comes and signs and extension- great--but that will only happen if we go deep in the playoffs and we acquire another star player. If leaves (which is most likely to happen) we traded a way pieces from a strong 2012 draft for probably another 14 or slightly lower pick. We will end up doing badly for a year which will upset Alexander who wants a competitive team. I know there are a lot of people that support tanking. The Oklahoma city story is impressive because they improved so quickly. There teams that have done badly for years and take along time to improve and may end up improving through free agency because finding a elite star in the draft is not that easy even if you have the number 1 pick.

At least we would have a clear direction, instead of trying to rebuild on the fly and trying to stay competitive at the same time.

After all this, our starting lineup might (and will probably) end up looking like this:
    Dragic
    Martin
    Parsons
    Scola
    Camby

    Sound familiar?

If he does not resign we give up two top ten picks in a deep draft the for a one year rental. Whether we will get Parker or Wiggins is a crapshoot.

The Houston Rockets would love to acquire Dwight Howard, as I said last week. They believe they could persuade him to sign a long-term deal.

Not until Camby retires, Martin leaves in free agency, and we are the 2015 Charlotte Bobcats :) And,if we keep him for a year....And he says that he wants to leave, we can just trade him at the deadline :)

    Any ways guys...

Houston is hosting the next all-star game. So it's only right that we'd get to rent Dwight for one year I guess.
