You know this is coming from the howard camp......what else do you expect them to say? Everyone and their mom knows where he prefers to go but at this point he doesn't have a choice. Once he comes to houston and settles in i think there is a very good chance he actually stays. Yes I said it. Howard in Houston is possible.

    Oh, a "source", huh? Dwight's dog groomer's brother-in-law?

How does he know theres 0% chance he would stay when he hasn't even played here for a year yet. What if he actually liked playing in Houston??

If we win a title, would there still be no chance?

If he comes here we need to hire The Dream asap to help McHale coach the big men just like how Ewing did for the early 2000 Rocket teams.

Just some more lame duck journalism. He doesn't even say who his "source" is.

The source is probably Steven A. Smith.

Everyone could have called that one if they watch First Take.

So Rockets get Dwight for a season... (2012-13)

    Dwight Leaves (Summer 2013)

Rockets tank for a season since they lost all of they're valuable 'assets' renting Dwight (2013-2014)

Rockets draft Jabari Parker (Summer 2014)

Even if we dont get Dwight, we can still easily land #5 and take a future All-Star whoever is on the board. I hope Drummond.

I'm not buying that it will take both #5 and #8 to get Dwight. #5 plus a player or two of ours should be enough, plus maybe the future Dallas pick. I'm guessing the discussions are primarily with Sacramento, for Lowry, #14 and maybe #16. Or maybe it won't cost us #16 to get #5, just Lowry and #14 (plus perhaps Patterson), and we flip #5 and #16 to Orlando.

Way to much to give up if he doesn't want to be here. We couldn't flip him to where he wants to be for better assets than what we currently have, we would have zero leverage.

I don't want the guy here period, he obviously doesn't want to be here...the guy is a diva and isn't worth the trouble IMO...one year of hope to fall even further than we were, no thanks...why not go after a guy with class and willing to learn and be coached, a young guy who is fearless taking it to the basket and has one of the smoothest shots if not the best coming out of college...Bradley Beal is the guy I want to see the team build around...you listen to him talk he is mild mannered and polite, doesn't have the superstar ego but believes in himself...I am a gator fan and everything I have seen and heard from him makes me believe he will be a great face for this franchise or another...I also see him as being a very loyal player who wouldn't bolt at first opportunity...leave Howard to whatever team wants to deal with him and get a young talent to build around for years
