I Believe Morey and Rick will make a smart move,. Collecting assets and young players with alot room for growth. In Morey We trust! He's been very patient and I don't see him making a move that would hinder our future.

Thank God, Arenas has an even worse ego than Tracy.

    That would be a no-brianer.

An unprotected 1st rounder from Washington would be a great pick. Given Morey's scouting prowess, we'd get a stud.

Arenas doesn't fit our team. But he would be a little easier than McGrady to trade away. I trust that Morey can turn him into a couple of decent role players.

Could be the case, but I would just assume that it would be common knowledge that unless McGrady is going to forfeit millions in a buyout deal (very unlikely), that teams shouldn't even consider it a possibility. I get what you're saying, though. You can't just let teams think they could sign him outright instead of paying a premium via trade for the type of relief his contract will provide.

At least it's better than trading T-Mac for essentially expiring contracts. I wouldn't do T-Mac straight up for Arenas but perhaps pull a third team into the mix could work or toss in some draft picks etc.

I would do the swap, but with a 3-way trade, with the 3rd team getting Areans

Morey please work your magic
