I would THINK about it IF Javale Mcgee was thrown in the mix, and even still it would be hard to swallow such a horrible contract.
This is good news, it means that teams are willing to offer good pieces for Mcgrady and that the Rox aren't deperate to make a trade, we will win out in the end.
Arenas contract is HORRIBLE. Let me repeat that HORRIBLE. I'll take a terrible player for one year over having to watch arenas become T-mac 2.0
I can't wait to hear what Tracy has to say about this whole fiasco. We know he's going to open his mouth like he always does. As for Arenas, pretty easy decision to shoot that offer down, his contract is outrageous.
Nobody knows that. But why spend money on Arenas and further limit this team financially in years to come. Once Tracy is off the books and we see what the organization has in mind we will possibly be able to go after future free agents such as Kevin Durant and others after the 2010 free agent class.
How am I dreaming..... Just because Arenas is a decent player doesn't mean he's worth his contract. He might be an upgrade for this team, but he is injured far to often, even more than T-Mac and is getting paid a TON for years to come. I don't understand how you fail to realize that only a fool would do this trade.
This will be the first time that I can remember that the Rockets won't have a All-Star caliber player for majority of the season actually playing. The only other time was when Hakeem had the eye injury but I can't remember if he came back that year. Now this will be weird... Sounds like some Texas hold'em is going to be played here...
Obviously Morey isn't gonna be stupid enough to take that trade. Arenas would be our third string PG. He has McGradys contract for three years. If the Wizards wanna get T-Mac the deal would look more like this. T-Mac and Jermaine Taylor or Joey Dorsey for Javale McGee, Mike Miller, Mike James and Dominic McGuire.
I want GERALD WALLACE!!! He would be perfect a fit with the Rox. Him and ariza start, with Shane and bud off the bench
