    From Life of Brian:

Man: Excuse me, but are you a virgin? I mean, if it's not too personal a question.

Brian's Mother: Not too personal a question?? How much more personal can you get?? Now off with the lot of you!!

Man (and crowd): She is. Yeah. She is. Mmm Hmm, definitely..

No way they pick up Waiters and keep Tyreke. They're mirror images of each other.

    1. Not really considering that Dwight is arguably a top 5 player who is still in his mid 20s. They aren't going to be crazy about too many deals unless a top 10-20 player is in the deal, or two young promising players with a high ceiling get thrown into the deal. Pretty much any deal that they make or don't make is going to leave them with a big void on there team...doesn't matter that team is Houston, Portland, or New Jersey. Regardless of who they acquire, they mostly likely will not be a playoff tea, even in the East. They aren't going to settle for three decent round picks versus Lowry, Parsons, and Motiejunas with a pick.

Look at what the Lakers got for Shaquille O'Neal. Brian Grant, Lamar Odom, Caron Butler, 1st Round pick, and a 2nd round pick. Alot of critics still felt that the Lakers did not get enough for Shaq who was already in his 30s.

Houston might be offering the best deal, but it's nothing special. A deal, like Ibaka, Harden, and maybe 1st Round pick would trump anything, most other teams are offering for Howard. Problem is that OKC has no assurance of him resigning and would (did) deny such a deal.

If the Thunder had Howard's word and signed an extension after a trade, he would've already been there.

    Ibaka/Harden
    Griffin/Jordan
    Bynum and or Gasol

Orlando is probably still stuck in that mind set.

I think posters often don't take into an account that the other teams are also trying to get the best players, possible and not players overrated in fandom.

    1) Broussard's making it up (likely)
    2) Morey's trying to take GSW out of another trade by raising the asking price (possible)
    3)smokescreen (improbable)
    4) Broussard was just blind guessing (likely)
    5) Morey wants Varejao (AHHH!)
    6) Varejao for Howard (impossible ;))

Dude, that's a three team deal; they just didn't tell the whole story.

Gordon and Varejao would be $20M of salary on the injury list. Both can't stay healthy nor are they those upper tier stars.

That's a tad bit too much...

Lowry, 16 and 18 sounds like that would be okay....but Parsons too?

    Naw, son!

    They can keep Evans!!!
