Me too. I'd like to see MGK in a Rockets uniform.

You have to overpay when you want an all-star. You think other GM are fools? They'll always charge a premium for their all-stars.

Obtaining an all-star through trade is near impossible if you don't give up something extra. This is why Rockets should've just swallowed their damn pride last year and tanked for this years draft. SMH.

i don't want two players that can't shoot. Evens and MKG should play the same position.

Those of you going to the draft party need to let everyone know whether or now Parsons is here when you show up -- I have to think the Rockets would let Chandler know to stay home if it is in fact true that he has been tentatively betrothed to the Kings.

Also, I am not sure what I would hate more -- Chandler being off the team or Evans being on it.

Parsons and D-Mo? I'm assuming Sac wanted both, because I don't think Morey would hesitate to trade two picks, Lowry, and Parsons for Drummond, but 2 picks, Lowry, Parsons, and D-Mo for #5 (Drummond) and TE would cause the windows to shake at ESPN HQ. :)

This^ A chicken little GM trying to play moneyball when it comes to superstars wont pan out. That moneyball only works with lower tier and middle of the road players. The big boys cost you more than just frugal deals. Sometimes it does caost you an arm and a leg. Other GMs dont care about your moneyball when it comes to those superstar top 5 pick moves.

Evans, MKG, Leonard, Morris, Patterson, Dragic, and DMo is a GREAT core of young talent. And you still have Scola and Martin to keep the team competitive while the young guys are developing.

This would elevate Morey to einstein level.

Originally, the Rockets offered 1 draft pick and Lowry. I think the Rockets up'd the offer to 2 draft picks and Lowry. And maybe the rights to Lull.

Rockets spent to much time and effort to develop D-Mo, so I doubt he is involved.

Let me write it another way so you dont think I diss everything Morey does. Moneyball works and I agree with it for Morey. At some point he has to play GM and know when to do his moneyball. Those two are different things. When it comes to fattening our roster and making moves to get us in position he plays moneyball with the best of them When it comes time to pull off big trades and consolidate his assets? He needs to take off his moneyball method at times and just be our GM. If he can learn to be both GM and a moneyball method user? Morey would be the most dangerous GM in the league. Until then he is limited to being average to decent at what he does with all these minor moves.
