Nope. It's on Howard. This isn't the first time he has pouted, sulked, and not given enough effort. The NBA is meritocracy, and Howard failed to live up to his end.

 

Fair enough, I guess when you said Dwight Howard had no touches in the post (when the stats say otherwise), you probably meant Dwight Howard didn't get enough love in the locker room.

And as for Steve Nash, technically his biggest jump was from his 8th to 9th season, but there is a noticeable difference in both his stats and his effectiveness in Dallas and Phoenix.

 

"Post touches" is an intentionally misleading stat used by Dwight bashers. Dwight cared about post shots, not touches. There's a big difference.

And regarding Steve Nash, it seems like you're confusing improvement with extremely increased usage.

 

Post shots or touches, he deserved neither. Dwight at this point with his remaining athleticism should focus on being a defensive stopper and rebounder like Bogut, Tyson Chandler, or DeAndre Jordan. He's a horrific finisher on offense, a terrible FT shooter, and the Rockets will benefit significantly on offense with his absence.
