Wow 3 teams put their rosters together and they still can't get out of the first round. That team still can't San antonio or the Lakers.

4th quarter closer? yeah they still need defense, but he would at least help in that regard

Dude, Landy is 6'9. He is 1 inch shorter than Hill and same as Scola. Landry has more body weight and consistency than Hill. And His contract is only like 3 million dollars... so its still cheap.

We already have one of those and Rick keeps putting him on the bench......I would not mind Carl...but this season is OVER...why get him now?

Wait to get him for free, next season.

He is NOT 6'9" tall, he is 6'7 3/4" tall go look up his measurments coming into the league....

Oh heck, here let me do the work for you:

    http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Carl-Landry-461/

Contrast that to Jordan Hill 6'9 1/4":

    http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Jordan-Hill-1222/

Now look at their standing reach, their wing span, their speed and athleticism....

And the fact that Landry has had significant knee surgery....

I'd love to have Landry back on the Rockets but the thing is...

    We are overloaded at PF.

We only have 1 C that could be considered a shot blocker.

Unless another shot blocking C is in the trade or is in the works after the trade, I'd say no.

Ok, well, if you are adding in Dalembert...or Cousins....then of course you do it.

    ;)

So you are agreeing with him that he is an inch shorter instead of 3 inches shorter, but the main problem is is his standing reach and wingspan.

1.5 inches and longer reach are incredibly important.

Landry is turning 28, next season. If the Rockets are serious about rebuilding, they won't take time away from Patterson and Hill to "win now".

I love Landry, but I feel like if Morey is talking to the Kings, he's doing his due diligence on Cousins, Thompson and Dalembert. Dalembert and Landry are both certainly available (Dalembert hates it there and Landry has been bad this year), while Cousins and Thompson are each younger and would take a lot more to pry them away from the Kings.

Landry? Energy guy? Yes. Fit Rox needs? No.
And Rox need a center, not another undersize PF.

And when jordan hill is 27 he will likely be the same inconsistent player. Usually if you don't get it by 22-23 I don't know if you will. Look at pat I mean he is a rookie, but he doesn't do dumb things all the time.

Hey that stromile swift guy is going to be a super star you now.

Improves our starting lineup and bench right away.
