if the starters are AB, Ariza, Battier, Scola & Andersen, as you said earlier, then who will be the players to get significant time off the bench?
    4:46

Anup Shah (Rockets Buzz): Landry and Lowry will get the most minutes but Budinger and Taylor I can see playing 20 minutes every game.

They're seriously disrespecting Chuck in this chat.

what free agent for 2010 would be attracted to houston's roster and front office?
    4:48

Anup Shah (Rockets Buzz): Joe Johnson is one that comes to mind. I also wouldn't put it past Morey to make a big push for Bosh. Bosh is likely the best case scenario but it'll be tough.

    TO all Asian Indians:

We finally made it to the NBA (we should take whatever position we get) through Anup Shah. Let us not color ourselves jealous. He is representing all of us, i mean, just read some of the commentary... ok, he is an idiot.
    :(

His opinion isn't worth a damn. He has no clue what the Rockets want or need.

do you think with the signing of Bosh or Johnson, the rockets will be a contender?

4:50 Anup Shah (Rockets Buzz): Of course.

Another PG question with regard to Brooks? This guy really just appears to be some random Rockets fan, not even a hardcore one.

Anup Shah (Rockets Buzz): Thanks to Rafay for pointing this out. I forgot to mention Chuck as a bench guy...I'm still thinking about the last 4 games of the Laker series.

LMAO!!!!! That's me. I bashed him for forgetting to mention Chuck and in the end of the post, i said "YOU FAIL! BSPN SUCKS!"

    HAHAHA

They did say, though, that Chuck would be the second option to start if Andersen doesn't work out. But agreed, Chuck should have been mentioned in that answer too.

It is because of Chucks free throw and lack of offensive game. They have no respect for the man. I think Chuck is great and he has great court vision and he can sure pass the ball.... but those guys dont know that because they just seen stupid youtube clips of chucks free throw.

I hope he never comes here. He has no knowledge of the Rockets, or so it seems.

Shah, Hollinger mentioned the possibility of Landry playing significant minutes at 5. Is that likely in your opinion?
4:44 Anup Shah (Rockets Buzz): I don't think so. Look how much Landry's shot has improved since he came to the Rockets. He's almost automatic now from mid-range and having him at the 5 might take away from that.

I asked at least a dozen questions (mostly to hollinger) and the most uninteresting one got through... :(

thanks for the vote of confidence

but no way am I going to do anything like that and make assessments of this team until the end of november when we can see what the true rotation will look like and possibly what it will be like with McGrady back in there.

trying to crown champions and making predictions is all fools good right now IMO before the season starts. Obviously you can make some reasonable observations like the lakers will be good and the Rockets probably not as much considering the disparity in talent but who knows what may happen injury, chemistry or trades. (FWIW i would have still taken the celtics to win the east last year if garnett was 100%)

thats why all these preseason chats by yahoo, espn i laugh at heck I dont even ask serious questions in the ones that JCF has on occasion (which btw are probably the best ones in terms of information about players)

but man this Anup Shah character I dont get him or where he gets his supposed expert analysis.

I mean DD with all his Von lust makes 100x more sense than that guy
