He's a 35 year old two time MVP, who is going to demand a huge contract extension. This creates the perfect want/sort of want/do not want discussion. ;)

Tracy was the best defender on the team until shane showed up. He's not as bad of a defender as people seem to think. He was playing on one leg this year.

Lol did you really just say that?!! Luther never started for the team and never lead this team in the playoff. Do you actually WATCH the Rockets? lol Luther Head haha

Everybody was riding Brook's d*** a couple of days ago when he had that amazing game, and now that Nash is beeing talked about, everybody is dissing him again. Comparing him to Luther Head, lol what an insult!

At what? T-Mac is a better passer than Kobe and a better rebounder normally. If they were point guards you could make an argument for T-mac. They aren't though. We're talking about scoring wing players, shooting guards...

Kobe is significantly better than T-Mac. T-Mac isn't even in Kobe's league.

T-Mac is to Kobe Bryant as Allen Iverson is to Lebron James.

we are interested only if the suns are willing to take on tmac contract. Nash's contract would be too big for us if doesn't involve with either tmac or Yao.

That's wishful thinking on our part, Suns wouldn't take tmac, why? to make room in order to resign amare? possibility, but Kerr isn't going to wage everything on Amare and rebuild from there.

Then again nash isn't the type of defensive player Nash had in mind. I doubt if suns are seeking to trade nash we would be on the top contenders list.

beside if we get nash, that pretty much mean brook is not really.

about nash's defense, i dont think thats a major problem at all. players like wafer and scola, who were not good defenders became better when they came to houston. also, u got to take into account that suns is not a defensive minded team at all. i would love to have nash in rockets uniform.

lol dude how about u learn to read for a second. I knew I was going to get a reply from some idiot saying something along the lines of "oh look how amazing he was in the playoffs look look"

"Luther showed just as much as Brooks did in the regular season his sophomore year[/B]'

lets compare their respective SOPHOMORE REGULAR SEASON in their careers:

---------- Luther Head ------- Aaron Brooks
    MPG: -------- 27.6 ---------- 25.0

    PPG:------ 11 -------- --------- 11
    RPG: ------- 3.2 ----------------- 2.0
    APG: ------- 2.4 ------- -------- 3.0

    FG%: .437 .404
    3P%: .441 .366

the minutes played per game and the points per game is very much the same. and hahaha did u just say STARTING FOR A TEAM MEANS EXTRA CREDIT FOR THE PLAYER??? haha dahntay jones/antoine wright starts lol man and so u mean they must be better than jr smith/jason terry???!!! hahaha

I think passing and ball-handling is just as much a problem for this team as finishing. Nash would instantly improve that. I don't expect him to be a 18-12 guy like he was in the Phoenix. 13-8 is more realistic. That's fine, if he can bring more consistency, better efficiency, and more offensive leadership to the team. His defense concerns me, but after years of being a top 5 defensive team and a mediocre offensive team I think it's time to take that chance. And hopefully we're able to acquire one of their other finishers (e.g. Barbosa) in the trade as well.

I know. Exactly. I am FULLY aware of that. However does an explosion during a playoffs signal anything about how good the player ACTUALLY is??? AND I ONLY MENTIONED REGULAR SEASON.

I mean Aaron was brilliant MVP-ish in our wins but pretty horrible in our losses.

Sell while his value is sky-rocket high.

I mean just having a good playoff run mean that he'll be just as good in the future??? He hasn't shown that he could be that good consistently before.

I love Brooks. But when you can get Steve Nash by trading him you do it. No argument.

hey fredv did u actually get offended by my comments???? Its just that you need to read exactly what I said. you need to realise I was comparing their REGULAR SEASON PERFORMANCE IN THEIR SOPHOMORE YEAR. nothing more. I wasn't comparing the playoffs. Because I think the sample size is too small compared to the regular season hence its better to use regular season stats

I just keep thinking of what Dallas did when they got Kidd back. It was just a move in the wrong direction. That's the feeling I get when you guys talk about getting Nash. Nothing against the guy, I just get that feeling.

If we won a title because we shipped him off and got someone who contributed to the title team, then I really wouldn't care. Do you think Celtic fans will be crying over Al Jefferson? I never hear Heat fans crying over Lamar Odom or Caron Butler. I will be surprised if Brooks is ever better than any of these dudes.

35 Years Old... that should say it all, not to mention the kind of game he plays... We can't RUN with Yao.. He doesn't play defense.. Aaron Brooks plays better defense.. and let's be honest AB's defense is mediocre. It's pretty sad that people actually want this guy on our team.

Wow. Mr. DM please try your best to get Nash. Brooks is more of a sg than a pg. Lowry needs another year or two of seasoning. Nash with Scola would be a nightmare for all the teams in the NBA. I have not even mentioned how he would make Yao a much more devastating offensive player. Even Battier should have a lot of opportunities from long range. Remember Q? He looked like an all world all star shooting from long distance when he played with Nash, but where is he now when he was traded from PHX? How about the Matrix? Nash made them all stars but non factors as soon as they no longer played with Nash.

Nash has tremendous fundamentals and makes the game a lot easier for his team mates- Adelman's philosophy. Please go get him Mr. DM.
