Im thinking Scola, Jeffries and a combination of picks. I would be shocked if Morey included both Battier and Ariza together, that would be rediculously overpaying for Bosh. Hope Morey stays the course.
Do you people not recognize a joke when you see one?? Of course the man isn't being serious. If you have the energy to fight on the internet then use it to tweet Bosh to get his ass over here.
John Hollinger is on Daily Dime Live now if you want to ask question about the free agency... Link to Chat
I would be shocked if youre actually a woman...my guess is that youre a dude that uses a female name.
Chicago and Miami are worried his off court branding? Does that mean they'll be passing on lebron as well?
Did Bucher say that, because my feeling is Bosh's agent would only care about Wade and Bosh together. SInce he is Wade's agent too. I suspect he put Bosh up in Miami and gave him the red carpet treatment to persuade as much. The problem is Bosh has as much ego as Wade and Lebron. Okay maybe not lebron, but the point is he wants to shine too. ANd it is looking more and more like he won't be able to do that in Miami and Chicago. Whereas playing along an egoless star like Yao will allow him to shine all on his own. And there's the added 300 million extra basketball fans that he will immediately become a favorite.
Battier, Ariza, and Scola makes no sense to me, why doesn't Morey offer Hill, Budinger, and our picks. If we get Bosh and a healthy Yao then wont we be in a win now situation? why trade out all our proven vets? especially since Ariza and Battier are both defensive specialists
It's not a bad thing (lots of Rockets already do it), but I wonder if there is a point at which it becomes a distraction for someone like him who is so passionate about social media, pimping his brand, etc. I'm not saying if he ends being a Rocket bad things will happen, but he's supposed to be a basketball player first and foremost.
Salaries have to match..Hill, Budinger, and Picks don't have nearly enough money to get a max player.
Pretty much exactly what I'm thinking. Not sure who is sending the smokescreen, but between the opposing GMs and the agent you know some tomfoolery is going on here.
Its simple. He comes here? He shines among his peers as the leader of a team. He goes to them other teams? He fades behind Wade and Lebron and gets to be their second fiddle. He gets endorsements here or he gets to be the third wheel taking less money to play for a team that has nobody behind any of them to back them up off the bench. I hope he realizes Houston is the best opportunity. I believe for him it might be Chicago or Houston because o fthe sign and trade. Chicago is another cold place with a worse off team than us. Houston the warm weather and winning too. I think we have a slight chance now actually.
Bosh is not conducting himself in a very professional manner if you ask me. I don't think he's right for the rockets after this and quite frankly will be very disappointed if the rockets ruin the team for a punk like him.
Huh? How is he not being professional? Is DWade acting unprofessionally too? Would you not want Wade?
For those that think Bosh isnt top tier talent... John Hollinger, on his chat, was just asked if Carmelo was a top 5 NBA player. Hollingers response, "I say no. LeBron, Wade, Kobe, Howard, CP all clearly better. Bosh, Durant probably better too."
