As long as we are the only ones offering the 6 year max, we are the front runner.

great thread dude, no need to apologize good information, I saw a piece of this in SC I believe hes comin to Houston becuz hes been real non-commital and hes wanting a sign and trade for the max money, I dont see CHI and MIA (missing in action  ) doing that.. we are willing capable and able to meet all of his requests and he knows that and I think he falls right into our lap--no homo

What's wrong with tweeting? He has 100,000 followers that want him to update what he is up to. Why is tweeting such a bad thing?

If we are giving up Battier (understandable) and Ariza that kinda surprises me if it is true. I felt like Morey had a high value on Ariza and he seemed to come on at the end of the year. I wonder who he plans to target as a SF in FA or another trade to replace these guys. I like Chase, but i think he is a couple years away from really being a consistent player. Maybe instead of Ariza we include some picks with Hill, Jeffries and Patterson (not sure how the numbers would work). I have grown to like our guys and would hate to see them go but I trust Morey knows what he is doing. I also understand the value of getting a talent like Bosh to play next to Yao... Chase may not be so bad playing with those two guys plus Martin and Brooks. And we wait.......

Good point I honestly feel Chiccago is our only competition for a SNT...but prob with 3 team that has assets and wants deng...since toronto doesnt.

Side note...i think we do trade for bosh with Scola, battier and Ariza then we give them 3mil to go toward battier buy out and resign him as soon as possible for vet min...then sign brad miller.

I see moreys plan unfolding and I am blown away....

    Brooks/lowry
    Martin/Taylor
    Battier/Bud
    Bosh/Hill/ Pat
    Ming/ Miller

how the heck do you stop a team that deep and with that good a starting 5?

Jordan didn't fax all his fans back in the 80's and 90's.

guys, you REALLY need to understand what a te is.

bimathug can do it better than me

listen ,bosh wants bulls/heat. the bulls/heat can give toronto a te which from what im reading toronto fans would LOVE more than anything we offer. supposidly toronto fans are saying there is a deal in place for te for darren collison...they want collison more than brooks based on age/potential

so all this about beasley and noah is bs. wade is a making a documentary but bosh isnt.....it must be the tweeting that teams are worried about...bosh tweets EVERYTHING....so if anything "wants to be behind closed doors" teams are worried bosh will let it out

thats all. it has nothing to do with noah or beasley....

i still think we are a loooooooooooong shot

and why the heck is hakeem mentioning playing center. ruined the whole thing. bosh is probably thinking "oh **** they want me to play center when yao is injured!"

    This is good news.

While I don't like Bosh being about his brand too much and not focusing on basketball, it ironically works in our favor too. Spreading his brand throughout China would be ridiculous income for him and must be a HUGE appeal to him as well. With this, we seem like de facto favorites as long as Bosh tells his agent to stop being a little turd.

True, but if he did, he'd need someone to punch in all those numbers and it would tie up a fax machine for days. Twitter's a little more timely and a lot less work.

cute, but you're logic is plain stupid. faxing vs twittering? i wonder which is easier. people need to quit being so uptight and critical. its 40 (i think?) words for god's sake..

u answered ur scenario cuz like u say TOR has turned down Deng and proposal for Bosh and CHI has stated before that Noah is untouchable as the raps surely would like to grab him so thats the deal breaker imo and I just see Morey in the driver seat to get this done in the last hours

i think this is all posturing by toronto to make bulls and heat take hedo or jose.

that is all. bosh wont even let morey have a professional interview. only a meet and great session which backfired because hakeem mentioned playing center.

morey also told bosh that the rockets would win more games than if bosh joined lebron and wade...i bet that didnt go over to well.. thats like telling bosh,"you and lebron and wade arent good enough to make playoffs".....bosh probably LOL'd

keep bashing the agent is unfounded. bosh can fire his agent anytime, bosh can tell him houston....bosh hasnt.. blame bosh not the agent

To me, if Morey was able to pull this off and send Scola as part of a package to get Bosh...I'd be amazed!

I think of it this way, who would've thought 3 years ago that trading the T-Mac of Greece could end up netting a player like the Bosh of the US and Canada?

    Someone pointed this out yesterday.

The Rockets posted an ad in the Chronicle asking us, the fans, to tweet Scola and Lowry to re-sign with us. Wouldnt it be dick if we beg them to come back then trade him?

If we want to win NOW we cant let go of Scola. I feel a lot better if we let go of Hill instead. Scola has already developed as an NBA player and I believe Hill has a year or 2 to prove he is really worth the 8th pick.

And once again. There is NO WAY we are trading both Ariza and Battier. Notice the word packages. At this point I am more willing to trade Ariza than Battier.

    A Line up of

    Yao
    Bosh
    Battier
    Martin
    Brooks

We can bang with the big boys...

BTW the last time we had Killer B's some magic happened in Houston. ;)

not really. bosh will make more money with reebox or nike in america

bosh doesnt need a sina shoe , and yao only has 22,000 followers. bosh wants followers and fame and winning.

also,in 5 years when bosh is 31, yao will be 35-36 and retired. if only yao was healthy and younger we would have bosh i think...but then again, bosh loves the media
