I think Rubio will be the only thing getting in Alderman's way from achieving success with this team. Kevin Love will be himself and will probably get better with time. Williams is too talented to be a waste on Aldemans team. I can already see Aldeman getting miracles out of the Minny support casts like Ridnour, Webster, Tolliver, Darko and Co. They will most definitely add other talent according to Aldemans choosing as well. BUT the PG position is too vital in a ball game to get bad production game after game.

Its not like they can just dump him after a season or two either. Kahn has invested way too much Minny resources (mainly $$$ and time) on this guy. So Aldeman is stuck with him.

One another note, I hope he give Malcolm Lee a chance.

You can forget about Malcolm Lee this season. This is Adelman we're talking about.

Why is the common perception that Adelman doesn't play rookies?

He gave Budinger lots of opportunities and gave Hill and Williams various chances to prove that they belonged. While Hill showed flashes of potential to improve himself, Williams never showed that same drive and attitude. Thabeet just sucks so why would Adelman give him playing time over someone who deserves it more in Hayes and Hill.

Only reason why Patterson never saw action until the later part of the season was because we had Scola and Hayes before him in the depth chart.

Rick plays rookies, just not bad rookies.

Why is this here? Rubio is not a Rocket and Adelman is gone. I think it should be moved to the NBA Dish.
