That won't work. A player that is traded cannot be traded again for a month. By that time rolls around the trade deadline will have come and gone... Or so I believe....
Damn, he's older than I thought. What is that, 34? Geez, how the time flys. Either way, he's still putting up 20/9. Whether you're 24 or 34, those are still great numbers.
If this goes down like Rookie 34 proposed, do we have a contender? Brooks/Lowry Miller/Buddinger/Taylor Ariza/Battier Jamison/Landry/Hill Yao/Hayes/Dorsey There's certainly a lot of shooters around Yao. We could have an amazing "push/energy" lineup: Lowry, Miller, Buddinger, Jamison, Landry. We're talking bombs away. I'd question our interior defense, but it's not like Jamison is worse than Scola. If we could deal for a true backup C, this team could make some noise. If not, you are only committed to Ariza, Hill and Jamison after next year. Hill potentially makes up for the overpaid jamison.
Well the knicks said they waited T-Mac and a point guard. Maybe they get him and Randy Foyle. IDK. Im getting tired of all these rumors. Forget about these rumors. Nothing is legit anymore. Might as well just wait till Thursday and see what happens.
Pizza, I think you're mistaken. A player acquired in a trade can be dealt in a different trade, though that player can't be packaged with anyone else. If we were to trade for Jamison, I believe we could turn him around in another trade.
His durability has been exemplary. Nice fit next to Yao. If it nets us Hill and we view that as a future building block, why not do the deal. Loads up for next year and the Jamison commitment expires the year after next. It's far shorter a contract than Iggy.
Nope. Why?? Everyone is a year older for one and the main guys that you are looking at to carry this team are old already. Second this team still isn't loaded. Third your whole starting 5 are chuckers. Well maybe Miller isn't but the rest plz. They'll look for their shots first and then look 2 pass second. Well let me say Yao and Miller. I like Yao's game a lot. The bench would be horrible. so short answer is no
if dm is talking to these two teams the only people he is looking to get back is jordan hill and NICK YOUNG along with whoever to make the trade work. No one else is even worth mentioning cause everyone else has flaws with ether talent or contract
They are, but Scola can get you 15 / 8 for about $6 mil next year....Are the 3-4 more points that Jamison can get you worth the salary difference of the 2, which would be around $ 8 mil ? Not saying I dont like Jamison but to pay someone $14 mil for 2 years at possibly our strongest position this year is startling. Unless that 14 mil is for a Bosh type upgrade, I dont see Jamison as a necessity on this team.
The last "star quality" players I figured the Rockets would have interest in were Mike Miller and social security Jamison. Yikes. I really hope there's more going on than that.
How about this trade: Rockets receive: Hill, Jamison, Miller Knicks receive: T-Mac Wizards receive: Scola, Harrington, Mobley I would actually play Hill at center for a lineup that looks like this: Hayes/Hill Jamison/Landry/Anderson Battier/Ariza Miller/Budinger/Taylor Brooks/Lowry
Evidently the original deal was much larger than what became noticed through articles especially if Morey was in no hurry over Butler. I think 4 teams were included, but this changed when Lowry went down. Golden State for the right deal i think is looking to dump as much salary as possible. As Nelly said he expected a huge trade to go down earlier this season. I think up to 15 players involved. I dont know this, but Chicago, NY, Golden State and Houston all being involved, but like i said it probably changed a couple times, once when Randolph went down and then again when Lowry went down.
Eww No Thank You...Jamison contract is stupid the next three years $11,641,095 $13,358,905 $15,076,715 <<< ENTITLED TO IT ALL Now Morey has signed Scola and Landry both to 3 year / 3 Million per!! He will be stupid to take on Jamison
