It's amazing what getting rid of half of your roster will do.

i usually don't believe in the power rankings.. but if you ask me this week we are right where we ought to be.. in a week or two i think we can overtake the queens, close in on the mavs.

Considering the entire team (practically) is up for contract renewals/extensions, they're playing well; but they can also blow up if they don't stay on the same page and start going out "To Get Mine....I'm gettin' mine!!"

I actually hope they win thier division and the #3 seed so we can play them in round one. I think we would have a much better chance at upsetting them than the Suns or the Spurs.

I hope thats true, but we have not played them yet to see how well we match up with them.. If they kill us like the Suns can I would much rather play the Spurs, people say they are the best in the NBA but we can play thier style of basketball...

Definitely agreed. Sonics is the one team I want to play in the playoff.

we're 2-1 vs them with a better record in the standings. i'd say our ranking is pretty fair.

Yeah i can see them beating us in a fast paced game like the Suns did but i dont think they have as many weapons as the Suns do and other than the ray allen-wesley matchup, we matchup fairly well with them. Additionally, in the playoffs i have to believe that it will be much more of a half court game which would be very favorable to the Rockets.

I would want to face the sonics too. The sonics are a good offensive rebounding team but a bad defensive rebounding team. Since rebounds seems to be a key statistic for us then I would want to face a team that doesn't rebound well. Overall the Sonics don't rebound as well as the Suns or Spurs. If you can keep Sonics off the boards then you limit their barrage of 3's.

I know we have a good record against the spurs but you just don't want to go up against the best team in the league in the playoffs especially with their experience.

I havn't feel better than right now for a long time. I think this Rockets is on the right direction to 2nd round of Playoff. Actually I don't care what is the final position, since we have a good chance to beat anyone in the west. :)

The Rockets have a better conference record, a better overall record and a better season series record then the Grizz, and have beaten them twice, once at home and once at their place. How does that make Memphis the better team that we have never beaten!?

This killed me when I read it because all I could think about was Jay and Silent Bob kicking the asses of all the people that talked sh-t about them on the internet at the end of Jay and Bob Strike Back. Thanks for the mental picture Oski.
